Data Quest sucks

I live in Texas but travels regularly to places where Data Quest has shops available such as Chicago. Joined last year and had applied for a shop every month, never received one. Those goofballs never replied any of my emails.

Interesting. I don't live near any of their shops either but have received almost every one I've ever applied for when travelling. I might suggest you take a look at the writing sample you submitted. Judging from your post here I imagine that could perhaps be the culprit. They require a lot of writing and they require their reports to be incredibly well written.

DQ is one of my three favorite MSCs out of 200+ that I am registered with. Amanda and Nicole are absolutely wonderful in their communications and support. Their editors are fast, knowledgeable, and critically spot-on. Their big-ticket reports are challenging but perfectly straight forward. Their smaller jobs pay well and typically provide experiential benefits that make the moderate work involved exceptionally worthwhile. I could not disagree more with this thread title.
I'd like to give a shout out to the mod since their comments made me chuckle.

I've done one restaurant job for DQ and I found the report to be so narrative heavy that it was just not worth doing again. I noticed that when their reports are like that, they specifically say it in the description. I've been looking at some other jobs they have including hotels and some say"a web based check off form containing various Yes/No questions pertaining to each department"
Are these just as intense and narrative heavy as their narrative reports and just worded differently?

I just went to their website and could not find the link to register as a shopper with them. Does anyone have a direct link? Thanks.

Try that one. I got an email for shops not in my area today.

I've done many parking shops in Boston for them and they are great. When I goofed, I ate the shop. They allowed me a hotel shop in Northern New England and forced me to endure the finest duck dinner I ever consumed. Always easy to work with, the only frustration was parking shops where the garage was full,
