Cirrus payments for January shops?

Is anyone else's payment delayed by Cirrus for shops done in January? I was told that January shops would be paid at the end of April. Even though it's only May 2, I am frustrated that it takes this company 3 months to pay. (As a side, I do like shopping for Cirrus. I just hate waiting 3 months to get paid!)

I received payment for January shops. This was the first time i was paid without having to follow up with them. If you work for them you must accept that they are the slowest paying MSC or go crazy. Bottom line I have always been paid for my work and they have always paid according to their terms.
I agree! Waiting that long for pay is frustrating. Have you ever gotten paid by Cirrus? Im curious whether they are a legitimate company or not.
They are legit. I've done several jobs for them. They just take forever to pay and require an invoice (which is fine but they don't always send you the invoice, sometimes I have had to request it!) They often have good bonuses shops but I assume this is because they take so long to pay they have a hard time scheduling shops. I would never do a shop for them where I had to put out money simply because of how long reimbursement would take. But they respond quickly to emails and have generally been easy to work with.
Good to know! I guess I won't be doing anymore shops for them. I've been waiting for 3 months.
You should give them a call or send a message. I got my January payment on May 1...it's very frustrating to wait so long!!!
I hate the 3 month thing as well, but if you start now, you will have some Xmas money waiting for you.
This all sounds like a step in the right direction for them. Used to be you'd have to wait 31/2 months, then send them "reminder" emails for payment before getting your funds. I stopped doing their shops because of the payment headaches.
90 days is their payment window, and they are up front about it. My big gripe with them is 99% of the time I've had to chase them after 90 days for my payments. They seem to be getting better as the last few payments I've gotten have shown up in under 95 days without me having to request it. I've pretty much shopped every complex in my area that they contract for, so it's kind of slim pickings for me at present. I have other stuff going on, and will not even consider a Cirrus shop these days unless there is a bonus, or if I can snag some locations in an area I'm traveling through. Even with their pay being less than EPMS for similar work, it still comes out to $20 per hour (without bonuses).
Stay away from the C company (furniture) shops!!!

Think about the cost you spend for this shop:
$12 on the meal
3 hours or more in the store
2 hours on the long report/ preparation
$$$ for the gas
9 different departments = 9 shops in 1 and you get $30-70 (A fast food shop pay $10-12 and the report is much shorter, Yes/No questions only.)

I didn't get pay for the shop because the C company say I'm missing some staff names on the report. But the truth is, the C company took the rest of my report for free.

When you just buy an ice-cream and the staff name tag is flip over, would you ask for his name? I guess no, you will act like there's something wrong and you want to complain. When you just ask a few questions about a knife and you can't see the staff name tag, would you ask for his name? You can, but he would know you are a secret shopper immediately and he will get the manager to serve you until you leave the store.

(furniture store) should make sure their staff name tags is readable if they really care about the staff name on the report. Otherwise, the staff name is just an excuse, they want to get the rest of your report for free.

(Mod note: It is against Forum rules and probably also against your ICA agreement to link an MSC with its clientelle.)

Although I like the shops they offer, I will not do any more due to their 3 month payment program. Like most shoppers I do this to earn a living, I have to put my own $ into each shop, ie.. gas, food, required items to purchase, ect..
And then to have to wait three months or more (as was the case) for my last shop with Cirrus. It is unreasonable to have to wait this long to recoup our money. Most MSC pay within a 30 day pay period, I can live with that, and even then I have to stretch my $ or I can not take shops that require us to put our money up front to do the shop, and these are the shops that usually pay the most. Now I understand that all Co's have their own rules to follow and I follow and we know up front what to expect, so knowing that a shop will not pay until 3 months from the day it is submitted is a letdown. Oh well they standt to lose out on many good shoppers because of their payment policy.

Spending $12 was your choice. There were meals available for $1. Mine cost me less than $6 and was very enjoyable. Also, I spent less than 3 hours in the store.
