Market Force technical issues - they are aware of the issue "We are currently experiencing system problems and are working to resolve them. The helpdesk is aware of this issue. Thank you for your patience."

I can't get the paperwork just the CPI. I will just go ahead and do the shop as it is one I am familiar with, the reporting feature seems to be working, anyone else?

I can report the shops but cannot upload receipts.
I was told to try again tomorrow.
I wanted to reply back: After my 9 hour work day or after the 4 shops I have scheduled!!
kinda/sorta hard to believe that a company this size would experience a catastrophic (yep, that's what it is) meltdown for an entire day (their shoppers not being able to access the paperwork necessary to conduct shops + inability to finish reports + other operational difficulties).

it is still down, btw
from the mf site....."No paperwork found! Please contact Market Force Information™ for more information! "

= still cannot access "get paperwork"
I didn't need to access any paperwork, but I was able to upload my receipt, completing the shops I did yesterday.
from yesterday (still not fix as of now)...

Good Morning,

Thank you for writing in to let us know the paperwork for your shop is not available. We are aware of the problem and are working quickly to fix the problem. Please continue to check back to the website to print your paperwork when it is available. We will also follow up with you when the paperwork is available to be viewed and printed.

Thank you for your patience!

While MF is certainly a big player in our industry, do we really know they are such a large corporation? The lion's share of their workforce is us after all. Both the Atlanta and Colorado offices are just suites in moderate to small sized office parks. They don't appear to have some huge corporate complex with their name emblazoned on the side. Since they outsource a good portion of their scheduling, I'm inclined to believe they probably do the same with IT rather than full-time tech support.

I get called frequently by them to do the burger place with a nice bonus. I would do every one they offered me, but then I think of their system. The bonus doesn't cover how clumsy and slow it is. Last one I did, I wasted 20 minutes just trying to get my receipts uploaded and I still don't know if they went through. I wish they'd get it together!
jeez, why do you continue to post things that....make sense (i could prolly learn a few things from you, eh?)

and you've probably hit the nail on the head

Please continue. I appreciate when you share your knowledge and experience with us. With only 18 months experience, I am still in the learning process and being able to get pointers from someone in the same area is priceless.
I did notice the receipts were not being verified as quickly.... I always wondered how many editors they have for all the shoppers? (editors + QC). smiling smiley
I needed to reschedule today's shop because I could not get to the paperwork. When talking with my scheduler, mention was made that MF had been hit by a virus, got it cleared and got hit again. Even the scheduler was unable to get into the system to do what needed to be done. So I gather everybody has been fumbling for the light switch for more than 24 hrs.

Since the issues are MF's there should be no hair splitting about late receipts, late reports, shops cancelled, shops rescheduled, etc. If you get hit with issues caused by their site down, stand your ground because YOU did nothing wrong.
Does anyone know when the technical issues will be resolved. I have tried to submit my application three times and it still will not go through. Each time I have to start all over again, there does not seem to be a way to save my progress. It would be nice to know when I might be able to complete my submission. Thanks

It does not sound like Market Force has any idea when all the technical issues will be resolved, much less anyone here. My best advice would be to stop trying to submit an application and wait until Monday or Tuesday of next week. That way you don't waste any time starting all over again. By next week, surely all will be well.
GemTiger, if they have the ability to prioritize the emphasis will be on getting the functionality back for shoppers trying to report current assignments first. Roflwofl's advice is sound about waiting until everything is back to normal before trying to apply again.

I heard on the vine that an internal MF employee got/spread a computer virus and it caused huge issues.

I do wonder why they keep doing system upgrades that they don't test enough and they always cause huge problems. I come from the software world and you test every possible situation before putting in your changes...
I have been trying to upload pictures, receipts and business cards for most of the night down to just one left and it will not take the business card so I sent them an email about it. and now I'm off to bed.

Does this mean our personal information could have been compromised?
Luckily for me, the shops I've scheduled are familiar to me so I don't really need the paperwork, but would be nice to see any changes. I've had no problem uploading receipts or reporting so far. I hope their virus doesn't spread to our computers.
