Servimer -- Anyone done shops for them?

I am signed up with Servimer and noticed I got an email for their parking shops...so I tried to see what they entail...and no icons/buttons/more info...just a listing for their shops. There is one in an area where I'm going to be doing another shop so figured this would work well...although now I don't know....

Servimer is an excellent company to work for, there are numerous different scenarios that they use for their parking lot facilities. I am assuming that you are asking about parking assignments. Once you are assigned the shop, it will tell you what scenario to use. Good luck
Hi petrohd!
Great to hear that you registered with us. If you'd like to PM me with the assignment that you're looking at, I'd be glad to help you see what's involved. If you could, please also let me know where on the Shopmetrics page you saw the job but were unable to see what was involved. We'll want to fix that. Thanks!

I recently started working with this MSC and I am a big fan so far. Interesting work that pays well, and they pay on time. If there is work in your area, I would say definitely go for it.

This was one of the companies talked about at the IMSC this week. Seems like they are real, and you dont have to pay to join them.

Any legitimate MSC is FREE to join.....start with the "Official List" link at the bottom of each page on this forum, and you will have more than enough companies to keep you busy!!!
Indeed, Servimer became an IMSC sponsor company this year and was very actively recruiting new shoppers at the conference. This is a very fast growing MSC and i
have done about 60 shops for them since late November. Good fees and very reliable. Every company manager, as well as the president does their shops, every month.

Oh my goodness, yes! We just added locations in L.A. and in San Francisco, some of it video, and we'll even long-term lend the equipment. Please register, PM me, and we'll take a look.

I didn't mind anything withing 200 miles of me. Only 51 Opportunities are listed for apparently the entire country - and I don't know where they are. I am patient, so I will just wait until something appears. It was easy to sign up.

The move to the new Shopmetrics system is really in its infancy, so only a few shops are posted on the job boards there. Most of their shops are assigned by regional coordinators, so keep asking for your areas!

To all who are checking Servimer's job board and giving up, please don't. We have not begun using the job board effectively yet, and have continued to personally invite individual shoppers to fill specific locations. We maintain a high level of commitment to our best shoppers, and when scheduling, we always reach out to them first. New shoppers are scheduled primarily when we add new locations, but that has happened every month so far this year.
To find our jobs, please register, and then contact me or any other Servimer rep. We value initiative, and will offer work to someone who has reached out to us before we cold-call from a database. Also, and I'm sure this would hold true for any MSC, make sure your registration information is accurate and complete. 1.5% of our registrants provided incomplete email addresses. 35% did not fill out our two question extended profile section. We cannot schedule a shopper without that information, and the first impression that such gaps in registration make are hard to see beyond.
We are finding that active participants in this Forum have a higher success rate in completing our assignments than new shoppers who are not active here. I am pleased to serve as a liaison to this community and am thankful that this setting for mutual encouragement exists.

Just signed up with Servimer, sent Scott a PM, yet haven't received either the Shopmetrics login info nor PM in return. I keep hearing good things about them from my IMSC colleagues, so I'll just be patient through the holiday weekend.
Eric,
I can testify that all active Servimer shoppers in Scott's region are out doing EOM shops like crazy this weekend. That includes me, BarryC and Scott. A client in this region decided to add about 40 assignments a few days ago, all due by the end of the month, of course. The few of us who were around at the last minute stepped up to tackle all of that. That's the kind of loyalty that this MSC engenders. (For instance, I was driving in Center City DC most of the day doing their last minute shops while dodging the thousands of "Rolling Thunder" motorcyclists who ride annually at Memorial Day weekend in remembrance of POWs and MIAs.)

Trust me, you will like this outfit. Their shoppers are very loyal because the company folks are very loyal and supportive. All of the MSC managers do shops on a regular basis and the president won't let anyone but his most experienced shoppers become the coaches who schedule shoppers assignments. You will have your coach's personal cell number and email. It's the video shopping MSC model of collegial working relationships that we value so highly.

Can't speak to the typical speed for the Shopmetrics confirmation. The PM I sent has my email. Feel free to be in touch at any time. Looking forward to working with you!

Thanks for dodging the bikes, but those riders are inspiring! We truly appreciate your above-and-beyond dedication to getting the job done.

I'm at a Starbucks in another major-metro area running in-car camera on a last second special order with three more shops to go before the three hour drive home. Woohoo! This life is great!

Scott, you are yet another example of who only shoppers "get" shoppers! We are all nut cases at heart.
