Ardent taking longer to review reports?

I'm not sure if they've had to reduce their staff since all of the issues their major client was having, but I've had a few reports over the last couple of months take a bit longer to be reviewed than in the past. But, right now I have a report that's been sitting out there for a week. I've never had one take that long to be edited.

Anyone else seeing this?

The reports are edited pretty quickly, but they aren't "released" to the client until 5-7 days after the shop. Ardent does this to help avoid compromising the identity of the shoppers. Unfortunately, shoppers aren't able to see the feedback until the reports are released to the client. (FWIW, I am an editor with Ardent.)
Thank you, Callie, but what I meant was that I am not seeing feedback until much later than I usually do. I often see feedback within just a few days after my report is submitted (sometimes as soon as two or three days, although that hasn't been the case lately). So, I am definitely not seeing feedback as quickly as I used to....

Shoppers aren't supposed to get feedback until 6 or more days after the shop has been released to the client. If you are getting it faster than that, then the editor was jumping the gun. I was always told I could edit it immediately but had to hold it for at least 6 days.
Well, I learn something new every day! I don't think I've ever seen feedback any later than four or five days after my report has been submitted. So, this is new to me, but now I know!

Thanks!

Yeah, I don't know who your editor was, but maybe it was the managing editor or another higher up who can do as they please...otherwise they aren't supposed to do that.
Understood, Birdy. What I mean is that you won't see the feedback until the shop is "released" to the client - which shouldn't happen until 5-7 days after your shop. If you see feedback before that, the editor has released the report too quickly.
I am glad they wait a week or so to release the report. Some of us do the same few locations over and over and some of the interactions I have had may have been memorable to the team such as asking what has gluten usually would need to get the manager involved in my locations. One time I was in line right next to my original trainer who was going thru the serving line with a new team member stopping at each food item and describing how to serve etc. I have very memorable hair so most people pick me out when they see me again.
I too have had feedback on my report quickly in the past.

I guess I've had jumpy editors for the last few years, then! That's why I got nervous when several days had passed without my getting feedback. Next time I will know not to expect it as quickly as in the past.

One clarification - sometimes when we receive reports at the very end of the month, they're released more quickly to meet deadlines at the end of the month. Otherwise, 5-7 days is the general timeline. smiling smiley
