International Service Check MSC

I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company? I have done my first shop for them with no out of pocket, and I am waiting to get paid, but it has only been about a month.
I was asked to do a high end shop for them with a high out of pocket this time, so I am just asking if anyone has not been paid by this company.

I like them, and have always been paid on time according to their stated time frames, or even a little bit early. As long as you follow your shop instructions and guidelines to the letter and write decent narrative (if required) I wouldn't, myself, worry about having a shop rejected and being out of pocket on the item, or not being paid on time. But, you absolutely have to follow instructions precisely. It seems that people here who have trouble with ISC inevitably have done or not done something they consider a "minor" thing, have a shop rejected, and then complain. For example, make sure you open, download, and save the shop materials. Their system tracks whether or not you open or download them, and it's a problem if you don't!

If you have any questions at all about the guidelines, location, or anything else, e-mail the scheduler ahead of time. Don't assume you can figure it out when you do the shop. I've found them to be responsive, although because of what I assume are differing time zones, it's not always "same day" response.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.

I love working for them and I wish they had more in my area! I've only done non-purchase shops with them.
**UPDATE**
Just got paid via PayPal today, only 4 weeks after shop completion!

Only in this industry do we talk about customers who make payment in "only 4 weeks", rather than customers who paid in four weeks. [Emphasis added].

My day job is working for state government. We only get paid every 4 weeks (1st of the month) so I am used to waiting for my money smiling smiley
I've been MIA from mystery shopping for almost two months now due to a hectic schedule, but does anyone know if they lost their smartphone client?

Thats a good question. I haave not seen that client with them in several months. I think its a quarterly one or maybe everytime a new model comes out with that maker.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

I haven't seen one in about three or four months, but I only see them occasionally through ISC anyway. Definitely not monthly, and maybe not even quarterly. At least in my area.

Not a monthly shop thats for sure. It may be a quarterly shop shop at best maybe every 6 months.

Shops in my area were posted on a quarterly basis for over a year. I believe the last round should have been in May. A new model did come out around that time.Maybe they will be back in August or September. That's when their new model is scheduled to go on sale.

Why do you believe that, marymk? Would you like to provide details? It sounds as though you may have had a bad experience. If you post what happened, perhaps some of us can help you figure out what went wrong.

Having worked with International Service Check since 2008, I have been paid promptly for all assignments and I have never had the feeling that the company was looking for excuses not to pay for visits.
This is growing tiresome. Do the job right get paid. do the job wrong you don't get paid. Do the job 99% right and 1 % wrong is still a no pay.

I agree with AustinMom. I've found them to be fair. It would indeed be helpful if you could give some details on your situation, and maybe get some useful feedback here.

I did a shop recently for them, and my product photos weren't good at all. The bright lights on the metallic surfaces gave such bad glare I couldn't get a decent shot. They accepted them, but I thought they might not. I thought my shop might be rejected, and I would have thought they were justified. But they accepted it and actually gave me a nice compliment on my report. Not every MSC will do that.

With this company, in particular, it seems that every time a shopper complains about a report not being accepted, it turns out he or she didn't follow instructions. "Just a little mistake," a failure to get "a minor observation," or a "the salesperson didn't engage me" issue can, in fact, be a basis for rejection. It's not up to us to decide what's important and what's not.

I have been waiting for my payment for 8 months now, they just keep giving me explanations and moving the date, being that all my 5 evaluations were approved on november and the payment is partly a reimbursement of money I had to pay myself. I am very disappointed on this company. DO NOT WORK FOR THEM! I have worked for six other international mystery shopping companies and this is so far the only one that I have had touble with. PLUS they blocked me from their facebook page after I wrote my complaint on one of their posts, so I can not even contact them there.

After reading the same angry, rather incoherent post over and over, I understand why they blocked you from posting on their Facebook page. How about explaining more to let us know what happened and only posting once. When you cut and paste the same thing in several threads, it's annoying and redundant.
