Market Force "Competitor Shops"......Are they still done???

Hi all,
I've done many, many, many of the MF Competitor grocery shops in the past, and decided some time ago to stay away from the MAIN CLIENT shops because of the Customer Service Complaint. So for the past 2 months I haven't seen ANY of the Competitor Grocery shops....only the main client....I should say this is down South, to help those of you who know, to know which Client I am talking about. Anyway, I was just wondering if any of you shoppers in the South are seeing ANY of the competitor grocery shops, or just seeing the main client??? If you are still seeing the competitor shops, then I'll conclude that somehow I've reached my limit of competitor shops, and am not being allowed to see them until I possibly do more of the main client. I can't do those....I just can't say I bought something that went bad, when I never did!! I've done a few of them, and can't stomach them any more. So.....just wondering! Thanks all!

I started in June with MF and I have only seen one grocery store, and LOTS of it.
Yeah, and I am trying to stay away from those because they have the "Customer Service Complaint" while the competitor shops did away with those months ago. Maybe there's no more competitor shops! Boo-Hoo!!
The ones I have seen and done at MF do not have any complaint task. I have done at least 8 of them. You visit several departments and ask a question at each, time your wait, and make a $10 purchase.
I checked my records and May was the last time we had competitor shops. I don't know if they cycle them a few times a year..... but there were tons of them a few months ago.

Thankfully, it seems they did away with the complaint. I hated having to lie at the CS counter saying I bought something I didn't. It felt like "stealing" to me. And what was worse: The store takes a loss when they hand you something you did not pay for. It would be different if it were the main grocery store (clients) items they were refunding you or exchanging. .

If that is indeed true, I would be THRILLED!! The ONLY reason I wonder if they still use the complaint scenario is because most locations in my area have TWO shops for each location. And in the past, ONE of them has been the scenario WITH the complaint, and one WITHOUT the complaint. There's no way to tell which is which from the scenario they show you once you answer the questions...(although I DO seem to remember a time when MF actually DID say which depts were shopped after you answered the question...but don't see it anymore). If they are still having the complaint scenario, I'd like to hear from other shoppers...but I'm with you, Sunny, I just HATE it, for the same reasons you do....so that's why I've been avoiding the Main Client!!!
there used to only be 1 in my area...and now that you mention, I have not seen it in months...the alleged competitor was in an urbanneighborhood that was like a war zone..how that is a competitor to a safe suburban store, i don't know

I used to shop the "complaint one" at a store right by my house. You can only go in there so many times and say you did not like the milk! (lol) They start giving you weird looks. So, when that store came up the next time, I had to pass. I felt like they thought I was a liar or something! Actually, I was lying, under their instruction and it did not feel good at all...sad smiley
MF's competitor shops for the grocer start here in February. From what I can tell, the due dates are moved forward as long as it takes for the assignments to be completed, according to rotations. I did competitor shops in February, March, April and May. Should see them again next February, unless there's an MSC change.

Well, Mert, if what you say is how it works, then I'll just have to wait till then, because I am SOOOoooooo not doing the CS complaint scenario with the main client anymore! And since I can't be sure that I won't get one if I choose a location, I reckon I'll just have to avoid the main client unless they HOPEFULLY SOMEDAY DROP the CS Complaint scenario!!
