Market Force

I have just done a few shops for Market Force and they seem like a great company. The one thing I am not sure of is whether a shopper has to submit an invoice or whether you are automatically paid because you submitted the report. I had completed four shops with another company and did not realize that you had to submit invoices and never got paid. I would hate for that to happen again. Any advice would be appreciated!

Your CPI is your invoice for MF.

Why didn't you go back and submit the invoice for the other MSC?confused smileyconfused smiley, Sometimes a phone call can correct the problemsmiling smiley
Yes, but you really don't have to do much. On most reports, at the end it will remind you about uploading receipts and submitting CPI you can do it all then, or if you go to Assignment/Receipt Status and look under the CPI status, that should be a clickable link to submit the CPI.
The CPI is the invoice, and clicking the link pulls it up, all you generally have to do is sign it electronically (type in your name) and hit submit, and it's done.
It's an easy process.
They do not require an invoice. Depending on how you have your payment set up (check or direct deposit) you can expect to be paid by the 20th of the following month. August shops will be paid by September 20.
I just received an email from the help desk, been out all afternoon doing shops, and it said that they have cancelled all my assignments moving forward something about not renewing their independent contractor..anybody else get this email? I've worked for them in the past and never had any issues before

I've just done and reported 3 shops with none cancelled. Several others I self-scheduled are pending.

I'm not understanding exactly what the problem is. Are you saying that all your MF shops with all different clients were cancelled? What exactly did the e-mail say? Was it directed at not renewing you as an independent contractor?
With MF, if they removed you as an IC, don't take it personally. Just move on to the other MSCs. I viewed doing their shops as interning and training because alot of their shops had low fees.
I've moved on from it, on to find a new company to shop for. thanks for letting me vent!
Are there other companies that have audits that you'd recommend? That was one thing I liked about Marketforce.
Greenwhite, you want audits and not shops?

Queenie, a long time ago I did some shops for Maritz and forgot to submit invoices. I contacted them and explained I didn't know I was supposed to do that and asked if they could please pay me. They did.

I'm a new shopper smiling smiley but I like MF and Mintel because there are really easy audits that can pay decent to pretty great. Are there other companies out there that are similar?
greenwhite, are you specifically looking for audits or do you want mystery shops as well?
Was it Maritz? I've had a shop that I didn't get paid for for them... almost certain I submitted an invoice because I got paid for 2 more shops I did that day... doesn't make sense that I didn't do the invoice.. I kinda recall even typing in how much my items was.... but no one will reply back or call me back. It was $31 too sad smiley I only spent $1.04 on an item I needed to fix my blinds with... but still, bummer on the missed out $31 and makes me leary to do more shops. In the future, I will print off confirmation paperwork. Had only done 2 shops for them prior with excellent pay.

Like I wrote above, I once did that a long time ago. I called Maritz and explained the situation. Because it had only been several months and not a year or more, they paid me. If it's not been too long, you might still be able to get paid. clinen, you should try calling again until you can get someone on the phone. They are super nice people.
I may. I called a lady and she said my scheduler was out of the office. I tried over the span of two weeks but didn't get anyone. I didn't write down my shop info, but I know the date, time, and location of the shop. I may even have the receipt in my folder. I messaged a few times to no avail. I think I'll call tomorrow and see if someone can help. I did two shops that paid the same that day. I was paid for one of them but I'm not sure which one. I guess if I call and actually get someone, they can help me out with that factor too! I hope! I've learned lesson to write down those shop numbers though. I thought they kept them stored but when Iwent to ask about the shop, it wasnt in the drop down menu anymore. They apparently delete off after 2 weeks or so

I have always scanned both receipts together and submitted them together if there was only one place to upload. And you are sure you typed your name in the box for your CPI?

That was in response to a post by apercu who has since deleted their post.

I posted about Maritz, then noticed thread was about Marketforce. My post was regarding submitting invoices to Maritz. There is only one spot to enter product purchase when submitting an invoice. I read instructions literally and placed only my inside purchase, not the fuel purchase. So now, I need to revisit payments to see if I was reimbursed.

The invoicing and completed shops should allow shoppers to see everything they've completed, not just two weeks worth. I should not have to dig around, call or email to get this information.
Yes, Maritz's system is archaic and not user friendly. I rarely do shops for them anymore unless they are heavily bonused.
