BMA, GFK, Jancyn? Good, bad, ugly?

What about these companies? How and when do they pay? Any issues?

Thanks to all that have provided insight!

Hi fit, and welcome!

I've done work for BMA and Jancyn. I haven't had issues with either company. I didn't realize that Jancyn was on iSecretShop. They have more shops on their website.

BMA takes about 2 months to pay, Jancyn is six weeks.

I do cell phone shops with BMA. The reports can be done via the app, and are very easy and plentiful.
Jancyn has retail audits and purchase/return shops. They also have apartments and computer services every so often.

You are wasting your time and ours by asking about each company you might consider registering with rather than reading the forum. If you would just go to the list at the bottom of each page, as advised in response to your New Member post, you will find links to those discussions for your convenience.
fit, no question is a waste of time. We were all new at one point.

Explore the forum (just as you are doing), and ask as many questions as you wish.

@Honny
Flash did a great thing by pointing the new person to a source that has a great wealth of information all in one place!! The new person should explore the resources, then come and ask questions for any information they do not find....a better use of everybody's time!
Hi OC, I wasn't saying that Flash was wrong for point out the resources. I simply stated that "no question was a waste of time."

Telling a new shopper that his or her question is a waste of time is counterproductive to the mission of the forum.

In my opinion, anyway.

It wasn't worded in a necessarily welcoming way, I guess, but the point is we have been asked the same questions over and over and over again about who the best companies are throughout the years. We definitely want to help new shoppers and are fine with answering questions after they have looked over the resources and read through the forum. Flash has always been great with explanations and answering most questions for new shoppers (far better than I have been), but when it's obvious that a new shopper hasn't read and looked over the new shopper section and other resources...well...
Is anyone else getting a @davepi vibe? This poster has started 3 threads in 24 hours and asked the same question each time. Dave, is that you??? I'm sensing your cheech and chong humor here.
I think the responses to the OP have been appropriate. I agree with HonnyBrown that no question is a waste of time, but the OP wants posters to spoon-feed her with a laundry list of answers so she will not have to waste her time searching and reading.

I think the responses above were good, because the OP has told us she doesn't want to waste her time registering with multiple companies and she got very good, very polite responses. She asked about two different companies and was politely told about the search function. Either she did not read the answers or she didn't choose to do her own searching. Now she's escalating and has a list of three companies. Her questions are not a waste of her time, but they are a waste of our time, and at some point continuing to ask to be spoon-fed just seems rude. Of course, this is just my opinion.

Hi chris, yes the op is me.

So being inundated with useless, harmful and nonsensical posts/questions by the recent influx of trolls is not "a waste of time?" Telling trolls to "cut it out" is counterproductive to the mission of the forum? This is good to know. We can direct all the new trolls to HonnyBrown. Thanks.
I think the best response is to keep replying to posts we don't like so they're constantly in the top of the thread as opposed to ignoring them and letting them drop down.
Back to the thread.......I started (again) working for Jancyn and find them a good company, always responding immediately to questions, starting with the regular retail (not the audits) would be advised for a newcomer, reports easy as is job.

Live consciously....
Sybil, I would much rather have a new shopper directed to me to get answers to their questions. At least I won't call them a troll, or tell them their posts/questions are useless, harmful and nonsensical.

ETA: I hope Flash reads this and takes it to heart (if she has one).

We're off track here. I agree with telling a new shopper to read the forum before asking questions.

Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime.

Many new (and some long-time) forum members ask questions that have been asked and answered. Nicely explaining the search function is best for everyone. When a new member ignores advice about reading first and repeatedly starts threads to ask, I think telling the new member he is wasting time is not counter-productive. I don't advocate telling ALL new members that ALL questions are a waste of time, but in this case, yes, the repetitive questions being posted are a waste of time and warrant a stronger message.

I also think this situation differs from responding to trolls. IMHO, the OP is not a troll. The OP is a new shopper who wants to save time for herself. She is not yet in the mode of looking at this like a business and did not realize that her time is not worth more (except to her) than our time.
For clarification, I was not calling anyone a troll including the OP of this thread. I was addressing the inundation of recent trolls in this forum in general. It seems that the new mods and Jacob are back on track with editing or removing or blocking the latest troll activity. Or forum members took care of the situation themselves. Now go out and enjoy your weekend.
Honny, that was out of line. If you look back through the forum, you will see that generally Flash is the first to greet new shoppers who introduce themselves and point them in the right direction. She is quite welcoming and helpful.
Yes it was taken down but for some reason they didn't put a note. Those that read it know what I am referring to. I am not going to repeat the insulting comment.

Honny's post was a personal attack and I'm sure it was reported to the moderator. This is a sad welcome to fitnutritionist.

Honny, check out the links above. Those are all lengthy, helpful posts started by Flash with the sole purpose of helping shoppers, especially newbies. The amount of time and detail put into starting those threads shows kindness and thoughtfulness.
