BARE: "Checks in the mail" Really???

In over 11 years I have never had a problem with Bare. One time my check was "short." They acknowledged the error and made it up promptly. Probably one of the very most reliable payers in the industry.

They have been late paying me before. Not insanely late, but off a few days or even a week.
Wait until Monday then reach out again if there's still no check. Also....Mercury is in retrograde until Thursday. In my experience, NOTHING gets mailed to me on time during a Mercury retrograde.

To be fair, it's taken me up to 5 business days to receive a letter from a family member in the mail.
I would put the error on the side of the post office. They are hit or miss when it comes to delivery times.

Your right. Our postman stinks. He marks packages delivered, then takes his sweet time doing his route.
I don't have my check yet either, but have never had a problem so I am not worried.
I've been getting checks from Bare for a few years. It always seemed to me that the payment notice email was generated as they were processing the checks. The actual mailing appears to take place around the 15th.
And I've never had a payment issue with them. The one time my check was returned to them due to a post office error, their office manager was helpful in getting it resolved and resent quickly.

I have direct deposit with them and have never had a problem with late payments. Consider switching over to direct deposit, then it won't matter how loopy your mail carrier might be! 
I got the same e-mail on 9/12. I have had them take over a week to get to the upper midwest, but they always get there.

I received an email on the 12th that I have a check coming. Knowing 'it takes 5 to 10 days' by snail mail, I am not expecting it to arrive until the last week of the month. lol If it arrives earlier, I will be pleasantly surprised.
I received my direct deposit from them on time this month. Is there a reason most of you don't utilize direct deposit with them. i know they mail checks if the amount is over $600 but I doubt many make that much with one msp in a month. Anyway in my experience bare has always been good and paid on time.
Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I wondered about that too since I wanted DD but it could be because I am in Canada.

Mine is always mailed, since it's over $600 every month. I don't expect it until the 20th, but it generally comes earlier. I got mine today.
I got my check yesterday. My checks are too much for DD and are delivered priority. This makes me think the checks went out Thursday or Friday depending on the weekend.
Well, how about that? The check was in the mail today. That's 8 days, better than the 10 days mail expectation.
