KSS Internationsl

I believe they go by different names? Anybody done their investment shops!! What a joke. You follow their directions, make an appt., then go to it and required to wait 30 minutes even past your appt. rudeness on part of investment company contact. Keeps you waiting beyond 30 minutes at which time you can end the shop. So you report your shop per guidelines. So we asked if we were getting paid.. I dont know how this investment company gets anyone to invest thru their agents. They do not want to even make an appointment on your first visit without seeing your drivers license. Excuse is they want to see your account!! What if you dont have one!! Then the additional shop that was to be done was cancelled. Be wary if this shop.

You didn't have a shop with KSS International, and they don't go by different names. They are a scheduling company, and they schedule on behalf of many different MSP's. If you asked them about payment, they would not know. You need to contact the company that they scheduled the shop for.

We stated the BBB could be contacted if not paid. Then the additional shop that was to be done was cancelled. Be wary if this company.

I agree with OC. KSS are SCHEDULERS ONLY, scheduling for a number of companies. The shop will be reported to the company you are actually working with, and that company will edit your shop and accept or not accept it, and you will be paid by the company you worked with. KSS is involved ONLY in the SCHEDULING. KSS has nothing to do with your payment and probably does not know whether the shop was accepted by the MSC and whether you will be paid or not.

You seem to be having a lot of problems with tests and with different shops with multiple MSCs. Maybe you should slow down and take a few of the "easier" shops until you get your feet wet.

As for contacting BBB, BBB is an organization that handles customer complaints against companies. You are not the customer of a MSC. You are a small business contractng with multiple companies to complete assignments for which you will be paid if the assignments are correctly completed. Each of the MSCs is YOUR customer. Although some local BBBs will forward an independent contractor's complaint to an MSC, the MSC would likely respond that they were your customer and they did not pay you because you did not fulfill your contractual agreement with them and did not perform the shop correctly.
KSS schedules for many different companies. Some companies do all their scheduling through them; others give them the hard-to-fill locations. KSS, Summit, iSecretShop, and other schedulers are good places to start shopping because they give a newbie access to many different companies at once. But they are middlemen. You don't have any jobs with them; they "introduce" you to the mystery shopping company. Do you know which one that was? The investment shop I'm seeing is through Kinesis, a reputable company. Jumping the gun to threats before you even have an answer is likely going to hurt you for future scheduling.

If it was me, I would give them some time to answer -- it's not only the end of the month, but the end of a quarter. Everyone is very busy. Then consider taking some of the easier shops to build your reputation. There's a reason that shop paid well, and it's not just because it was the end of the month. Try signing up with someone like Ipsos and doing some of their shops that take 5 minutes in the venue and another 10 minutes for the report. Your hourly rate will actually be higher than the investment shop even though the rate per shop is lower.

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.
KSS reported back that they would pay $12.00 for the first and $7 for the second. We made the first visit and got appt. waited just over 30 minutes past appt time. Investment person never kept her end and neither did the company that ordered the shop. I would not recommend KSS as it is their responsibility to follow the guidelines not make things up to tell the shopper there was no appointment. They are the first point of contact with their supposed company. Aa far as we are concerned they are responsible to both their client and the shopper. They should be upfront who they are contracting thru to the shopper and obviously from what i have read they are not . I believe the company or KSS lacks big time. The shop was supposed to pay $25 plus + $5 for the training. So two shops wont pay out because the investment banker did not keep their appointment. No where did it say in guidelines that one would waste their time, read guidelines not verbally told guidelines crap!!! Dont dk these shops unless you want to waste your time.Let me add to this, my understanding is printed guidelines supercede what KSS emailed/reported back as to why they would not pay $25+$7 for training. Seemingly perhaps they try to add to the printed guidelines??

KSS does not track it. They only schedule. Please let us know the name of the mystery shopping company you worked for. Did KSS schedule this shop for Kinesis? Or a different MSC?
Another new shopper. Another warning about a MSC. Another confusing, poorly written post. Gets tiresome.
We received $26 and am owed another $36. Shopper filfilled his end investment banker did not and certainly hope the client who KSS schedules for fulfills their end. KSS replied via their email regarding the money they would pay via their scheduler.
We received an email this morning from scheduler at KSS who said he went to bat for shopper and got the $36. Now just waiting to be paid. Learned something - the investment company leaves a lot to be desired in 2 locations.

Possibly (doubtful, though). I am not, however, ignorant, rude, or ranting.

PasswordNoFound clearly knows which way is UP. Someone else sounds as though she does not. Just sayin.
By the way, the date stamp time on the sept 29, 2016 posting is incorrect. Itsy wrote comnent in am not pm as date time stamp shows. It is 3:27 pm central time now.

You need to select your own time zone in order for the time to show up correctly for you.

You set the time on your phone? I am not sure what you meant. This is where it needs to be set for this Forum.

Is this supposed to be English?

Apparently the OP was working with KSS Internations! Well that is according to the thread's title.

Why do you keep repeating the same things over and over again? It might be time for a new pair of shoes. I tried scraping it off but it just keeps spreading.
You keep referring to "We" in your posts.

Who is "We"? You refer to Itsy as another person, does that mean you are Bitsy?

By the way, shops are to be done "alone". Only a few type of shops allow "we"s.

We may be wasting our time responding to this person whoi refers to herself as "we," "the shopper," and "Itsy." All her posts are odd situations that seem designed to create controversy. Since she doesn't seem to want advice and merely argues with all comments, why are we responnding?
After reading the OP's other thread I'm calling it. This is an attention-seeking, pity party type of troll who is posting totally inaccurate information. Just report "we" to the mods or Jacob. Most of us would rather be making money than dealing with this nonsense. Don't feed the troll.
