Communication issues w/Int'l Service Check?

I did a shop for them at the end of August. Payment time frame said I should "expect" payment 10/8. I got an email from them last week saying there was an issue with my Paypal email address and they wanted to send my payment but couldn't. I resubmitted the same address and haven't heard back or received anything.

I found their website frustrating as there is no FAQ and it's hard to get anybody to communicate. So I have 2 questions. 1. I know some companies require your Paypal address and your contact address to match. Is this the case for ISC? I used different email addresses BUT there was no indication either way. 2. How long does it take to either correct the problem and receive payment or hear back from somebody?

Clearly, this is my first work for them, so I have no experience with this particular company, but I've done a lot of work for many other companies, so I'm not a total newbie.

Thanks!

Sorry that happened to you R.
You should change the shopping address to match your PayPal address now. It will save you a lot of problems in the future.
The first time I did a check for them, there was an issue with my paypal and it took some back and forth to get paid. I had entered my paypal email when I signed up, but for some reason it hadn't saved and they had to enter it manually. I used the contact form on the site to alert them to the problem. It took a few emails back and forth to sort it out and they were kind of slow to answer.

However, I have done about 8 more shops since then for them and have always been paid promptly. Looking back at my payment history, the last assignment I did with them was on July 22 and I was paid on August 19th, so it was less than a month.

I agree that it is better for you to give the MSC an email that is linked to your paypal account to avoid any problems with payments. Many companies stipulate this.
I finally got some communication back and they said they should be processing payment in the next FEW weeks. FEW WEEKS?!?! Right now I don't know that I will ever pick up another shop for them. Another few weeks would make it 9+ since the shop.

Well, if you gave them the wrong PayPal address, it is not their fault. They have scheduled pay periods so now you probably have to wait until the next pay period.

9 weeks is not that long. I work for many MSCs that pay in 90 days / 3 months. Try doing a shop for Crrus and you won't see your money for 4 months or longer/
You're right - IF I gave them the wrong PP address. I would wager that I did not. Nevermind at this point though, lesson learned. I will stick with my regular companies and their tested payment time frames. I have actually never worked for anyone with a 3 month payment time frame. 6 weeks with Jancyn was my outside until now.
I love this company. Great shops and fair pay. Very nice schedulers and editors and their Operations Manager is Karin Williams and she is super. They are very meticulous and their editors do tend to "grade hard" which gives some shoppers heartburn. But I will take as many shops as I can get from them.

I've never had problems with payment, so I am guessing either you gave them the wrong PayPal address or there was some processing issue with PayPal.

If you ever need to reach someone, Karin Williams has always responded to me very quickly through e-mail, Karin@servicecheck.com

Wrong company dear.
Sorry, I missed the INT'L in front of Service Check. Anybody reading this, please know my info pertains to SERVICE CHECK not INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CHECK.

I have only worked a few times over the years for International Service Check. I only state their shops when they are bonused and have only communicated with them through email. I haven't had payment issues, but haven't worked for them in some time.
