Market Force offering $0 fee, reimbursement only, for client another MSC pays a good flat fee on

Looks like someone accidentally released a new client, before the reimbursement and fee were set. If this client is moving to MF I hope it hasn't become reimbursement only, that will be depressing even if the reporting requirements are dumbed down.

I saw it today for $12 reimbursement with no fee. I tried to sign up but did not pass the qualification test. I think there was an error with the test so I notified the help desk and am waiting for a reply. Two of the questions in the test were identical which appeared to be in error. I don't think I answered any of the questions in a way that would have disqualified me.
Well they appear to be working on it as the reimbursement is nowhere to be found on the current postings.

That's a significant drop. The previous MSC offered $17 reimbursement with no fee.
When I started these it was a reasonable max reimbursement plus a small fee. The newer $17 flat fee was fairer. I want to see the new report. That being said, if this holds with no fee I fear seeing MF become more like ACL. Currently I average $1 in "fees" per dollar reimbursed.

Someone just fixed it but accidentally left the old ones up without the reimbursement listed. Maybe they saw my post? Definitely they are working on it still.

Looks like MF only has some of the locations, Sentry still has locations that they just listed. I hope the client doesn't like the way MF administrates it.

I guess they fixed the qualification test problem and I was able to pass it this time. It was definitely wrong the first time I tried it earlier today. I assigned one just to see what it would be like. Shows as 0 fee, even on the CPI. However, if you click through for the guidelines it says they are not ready yet. Talk about flying blind. So I have accepted a shop with no fee posted and no instructions. I'm sure all will all be available well before the start date. I'm guessing that the fee will be at least the $12 reimbursement I saw earlier today. If the report is easy, I can live with it.
I wonder if they are going the way of the MSC that has fun shops with no fee. Their shops, MF's, are constantly getting lower and lower.

I don't understand how their main burger shop is shopped every other day, multiple tiles a day. Who needs that many shoppers??

It could be how MF's snatching new clients from other MSC's. Hopefully that's not the case that the client has completely switched MSC's. Maybe the old MSC can verify! smiling smiley

Sentry still has their burger client in my area. Maybe this is some kind of comparison thing?
In reference to the previous two posts, I did point out several more posts above that the locations appear to have been split between both MSCs. There is no overlay. Sentry is obviously aware that half of the locations are not available to them.

Not in my area. I see the same locations for both Sentry and MF. If this customer's just splitting up the work between MF and Sentry, then cool. Not sure how common that is for this industry, but I do see things like this happen in my full-time career.

Obviously, I'd be sticking with one of the two MSC's for this client for obvious reasons.

What I see are locations listed with Sentry through October and then MF has them in November. This appears to be a change in companies. Is anyone seeing an overlap in the same month?

It may be too early to tell, until Sentry releases their November shops. It doesn't appear any November shops have been released yet after checking a couple of states.

In my area, the locations listed by MF are dine in and the ones by Sentry are take out. Sentry is for this month, MF starts next month. Each MSC has different locations listed, no overlay.

Very interesting, a MOD changed the subject line even though I did not provide the clients name, just the description of the shop MF chose to use. Paranoid reaction?

I just did several dine-in shops for the client in the last two weeks, and Sentry as the take-out ones right now. This weird.
MF just added a new Tex-Mex national fast-casual shop to their board (the one with the self-serve fresh salsa and cilantro station). $6 fee + $11 reimbursement. There is only one on the board now. I don't know if there were others that were already taken before I looked.

Unless this is another Tex Mexican chain, this is not new. I've been doing these with MF for years. They don't last on the boards for long.
OMG! I've never once seen them on the job board. The shoppers in my area must really be quick because I would have grabbed at least one of these shops. I'll pay more attention from now on.
I've been doing them a while. But they could be new in your area.

Wow you scared me. I accepted two of them and didn't see a time requirement. I just checked and they are still anytime the location is open, at least for my shops. There are some Chinese food shops on the boards for after 8 pm. Those I can't do.

Woops, I made a mistake, I was thinking of the Chinese food client. My bad

If you have to order an entrée, drink and a side, that $12 reimbursed won't even touch the cost. The French fried vegetables are good but greasy, but the black bean burger is good. The hamburger may be rawer that the many men burger.grinning smiley

Nobody knows what the requirements will be as they haven't released the CPI yet.

FWIW I can usually get by for 10 bucks, but I order fairly basic burger. I really hope this is just a test as I like doing these shops and I can't work for MF anymore.

Also, the Mexican chain has been with MF for a while. I used to do some of them. Fairly easy shop and good food.

So, what other fast causal eatery have you not ordered a entree, drink, and a side, while checking out the restroom, service and the employees? and if you purchase alcohol your shop will be invalidated? This is not rocket science.smiling smileysmiling smiley Let me know if you have to purchase a gallon of paint and some light bulbs.

It is not the CPI that will tell you the requirements, its the guidelinessmiling smiley

Ok I stand corrected. The guidelines have not been released so no one knows the order requirements. My CPI is incomplete as it still shows zero for the fee. No word yet if there will be a fee in addition to the reimbursement. I have done fast casual eatery shops with MF such as the Chinese chain where a drink and a side are not required. I don't get your sarcasm. I will wait for all of the facts before judging if this shop will be worth it going forward.
The offer is clearly $0 fee, $12 max reimbursement. If you already assigned the shop, do not expect to be paid a fee. If the purchase guidelines do not change, then you can easily stay under reimbursement. Several posts are by people that have obviously not performed this shop before.

We don't know the purchase guidelines yet but in my area of SoCal a regular burger, fries and drink would cost $9.87.
Your fee is the "up to $12 reimbursement". There are shops out there that are "up to $ reimbursement" with no shop fee. You act like "OMG, how could they do this?"

If you don't preform reimbursed shops then cancel or don't assigned. MF has plenty of reimbursed shops only, so why is this one any differentconfused smileyconfused smiley No takers??????? Then the company bonuses--------->$5 shop fee with $ 12 reimbursed. Been there, done thatsmiling smiley
