Market Force Job - Oy Vey

So, I did a job for them on 11/1/16. I just checked. The status still says "Submitted." Is it me? Every time I perform a job for them, I sit on pins and needles! Experience from others?

I have only noticed three statuses: In QC, Approved, Rejected. Are you checking the Website for the status? Sounds like you are using the app.

Was this a cell phone shop? Sometimes they are known to sit there awhile, whereas the grocery store seems to be approved almost immediately. smiling smiley
You did your part. Just let sit and if pay doesn't come when it's supposed to, react then. It'll be okay!

Thank you! I don't shop for them much. Their reports don't leave much room for details and I find them scary. I just checked again and it was approved. :-)
On the other side, I have had reports marked "approved" on the status page seconds after submitting. As for others, I have waited days to get approved. As a longtime MFI shopper, the only reason I check the Assignment/Receipt status is to be sure everything is there. When MFI gets around to editing it is their issue. I sure do understand why a new shopper would want to be sure everything was right. Feedback, even a rejection, helps the learning curve.

BTW, the only type of shop I have ever received questions about, and that was after the shop was approved, was for the breakfast place. When I noted a bathroom cleanliness issue there was no narrative on the questionnaire to explain why "dirty floor" was noted. (This exact scenario has occurred multiple times.) Now, I take a photo and send it back in response to the inevitable editor question about bathroom cleanliness. I find that by taking pictures of such things it also jogs my memory when writing the shops that do require narrative.

i'm a little concerned about a cell phone shop I did for them, too. it's been sitting in QC since the the 15th. did a burger shop 2 days ago that's already been approved...
normally I never have a shop sit in QC longer than 2 days.

My cell shop has been in QC for four days now. They seem to approve those rather slow lately.

is yours still sitting? mine is, and it's been 9 days now.
I think for the grocery shops, there is some kind of auto fill feature where if everything matches, (computer-wise) then it is automatically approved. smiling smiley This is for no narrative reports. For narratives, they need a human to read what you have written.

IMO, you are on the right track. That's also what makes MFI reports so easy. Usually, they are just check-off forms with no narrative. The only type of shop I have ever had a question on, weeks after the report was approved, was a restaurant. I was asked to provide more detail on cleanliness issues.

MFI isn't the only MSC that can take days to finalize a report. I did a FF shop for another company a week ago today (lots of narrative.). I always get 10/10 on my reports but it an take more than a week for them to be approved. I am still waiting.
