I've been signed up with them but have not taken their shops yet.....and I got an email saying they are expanding in the next year.

Silver certified (since 2009) and willing to do shops all around the greater Chicago, NW Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin areas (including airports!.
They will be doubling the number of shops that they currently have and expanding into Canada as well.
The company just sent out emails to their registered users due to a major expansion of territory. I have been shopping with them since the summer. They respond extremely fast and have a great support network. Payment is always fast and on time. If you drive a vehicle, they are definitely worth checking out.
When I last checked, it seemed there were a lot of questions for the shops....are the shops relatively easy? I could do these shops if they have them in downtown Chicago.

I personally think they're easy. As you enter and exit, observations are made related to customer service and integrity. Like a lot of other MS shops that are new to a shopper, there is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning to understand nuances.

There is a typical requirement of at least a 40 minute stay but a stay can be as long as you like (no overnight though). There is also an opportunity to do more than 1 shop per day. You are also afforded flexibility of when you want to complete the shop (i.e. you don't have to pick a date in advance). I have no doubt that there will be many opportunities in downtown Chicago.
Also, many shops really only require staying long enough to incur a parking fee. A buddy of mine has done as many as 7 in a day, making his 1 hour drive to the city a very good investment. Many shoppers use their paid parking time to walk to do bank or retail or restaurant shops. Since there is no requirement to leave in, say, an hour or less, these really provide great anchors for Center City shops of other kinds. Or just take an hour or two of free parking to go to a museum or a show!

I actually did a parking shop for another company that was between two other shops I did for another company. It worked well and I'll gladly do that again.

Thanks for the discussion! We are super-excited about the expansion, and there will be shops aplenty for all!
We'd love to have you register with Servimer at [servimer.shopmetrics.com]
There are a few past threads on this Forum discussing us under our former name, AMA Enterprises.
There was also an article regarding AMA in Mystery Shopper Magazine (totally excellent online publication published by the founder of this Forum - definitely subscribe!) at [www.mysteryshoppermagazine.com]
We are scheduling right now for January, starting with personal invitations to experienced Servimer shoppers and new shoppers who have logged in over the past two weeks.
If there are any assignments not scheduled by direct contact, they will then go on our Job Board.
Feel free to ask me any questions right here in this thread. You may also contact me by PM through this Forum.

HI there PetroHD - I am the manager for the midwest region for Servimer and I do have a lot of shops I'm trying to fill for January in the Chicago area. Are you signed up with Servimer? Please PM me and we can discuss further. I look forward to hearing from you!

I recently performed my first couple of assignments for Servimer. This company has made an outstanding initial impression with me. The representatives that I have interacted with are friendly, professional, and so very helpful. They are there to assist and provide guidance every single step of the way. This seems to be an extremely well run organization. I can see why other forum members have mentioned becoming loyal shoppers. This is a company that treats their shoppers as professional business partners.
I am glad to hear this about the company. Really looking forward to opportunities in Texas to work for them.

I did three parking shops for them the end of January. They pay way better than the MSC that previously had the client. A bit more detailed, but worth it. Hopefully, I will see more shops in my area soon as there were none for February.

I almost always had a bonus attached when doing them for the old MSC. Within $ 3-4 of what they pay now. These are a lot more detailed & more narrative. I like both MSC.
The good thing about Servimer is that the fee is stated when the shop is first posted. You don't have to wait until the bonused amount shows up. I always felt like a vulture waiting to see when the fee would go up and if another shopper would nab it before I did.
Thanks for the recent props!
To confirm what has been stated...
We post our jobs at the highest price that we can right up front. Get 'em early, they won't be going up.
Most of our shops are never seen on the job board. We prefer to schedule directly to trusted and capable shoppers and to cultivate long-term relationships, with training provided for more complex and higher paying opportunities.
Our reports probably do seem rather detailed. However, we ask more questions than we expect to be answered so that anything that is seen can be reported. Anything that would not be seen by a regular customer is simply answered N/A.
If you don't see shops in your area, please PM me and I'll try to save you a few during the next round of scheduling. Forum members are our best shoppers!

I recently started working with Barry from Servimer and I can confirm this is a great company and Barry is particularly a pleasure to work with. Several of my shops had issues and he was always very quick to reply on how to deal with them. Also, the company pays very quickly and reliably. I honestly don't find the reports that intensive. I've done a whole lot more for a whole lot less it seems.

And kudos to you too Scott for following this board smiling smiley

I have been doing assignments with Servimer for a few months now and I really enjoy working with them. They're very responsive to questions and emails and always provide feedback.
I've enjoyed the shops I've been assigned. They're easy to complete and I enjoy the weird stares I get examining the fire extinguisher.
I wanted to provide an update on my experience with Servimer. This has now been my second month performing assignments for them. This is hands down the most professionally run MSP that I have worked with. My primary line of work is merchandising and mystery shopping fills in the gaps on my routes. I highly encourage professional merchandisers to get in touch with this company. The scheduling is extremely flexible and will allow you to work the assignments in with your retail service visits.
I did 2 shops back in January. Both reports were reviewed within 10 minutes after I submitted them. They're definitely on top of their game!
