I did a shop for them last week, first one ever with this one as I just signed up for them. I just received an automated email from them stating that the report was deleted and I have to contact so and so to find out why it was deleted and denied.

Normal? I find that very unprofessional. All of the other ones I shop for give me some sort of explanation as to how my reports were, what needs changing for next time or why my shopper score is the way it is.

It's weird. I can't imagine why that happened to you. I have had reports put on hold before because the reviewer had a question, but I answered promptly and it was resolved. I have never had a non-payment issue with them, though. If you feel like calling and finding out what happened, please give an update.
I would get emails saying my report was deleted because of bad pics. Fair enough, resend and done.

Eventually, the occasional deleted report message got skimpy on details and I stopped doing fheir shops. Especially since my last pair were at the same time the usual takeout and another involving flipped pieces that I was hesitant over from seeing past testimony here and the easy one got rejected and I know those pics were clear! I told the editor on that rejection that I was done. Period.

Do what you will with that. Your tolerance for BS is the key. Mine is low because I have a day job
I've had that happen once in a while with them. If it was a pizza shop, it usually means you took the photos incorrectly. I've been able to have them allow me to upload the correct size photos before. Another time, I did not take one photo from the appropriate angle (I was in a huge hurry and it was a carry out so I did it in my car). Call them and see what you did wrong so you can learn from it. They offered bonuses over the next few shops to cover the amount I lost the last time. But that was because I have been with them for years and this was a fluke. If you are willing to learn and try again, I'm sure they will work with you. Its upsetting any time you have a report denied though. With this company, no news is good news. Good luck!
