Right now I'm waiting for reimbursement from one company. Shop was done beginning of November and they say my check will be mailed in 3rd week of January. That is 11 weeks to get paid a measly reimbursement of $10.
I did three shops for Cirrus over the summer. Not only did they take four months to pay my fees, I had to chase them.

They are on my No Shop List.

Sentry JUST paid me October shops (10/14) with a bill.com credit on 1/4! That's closer to 3 months than 2~!
The longest I have waited: 5 months for a large chunk of money for 5 video shops....Other than that 90 days or to the end of the month after the 90th day or something like that

99% of the time I have been paid within each companies stated payment time frame. The longest I have waited was an extra 9 days.

We all choose to accept the payment policy as part of signing up with each individual company.

I forgot to add that they are 3-4 weeks late. Their payment policy states they "process payments in the end of the month for the previous month".

Yes, we accept the payment policy, but at the same time, shoppers should get paid when they are supposed to.

The only time I had to "chase a payment" ended up being a lost check through the USPS during the holiday season one or two years ago. The MSC quickly cancelled the check (no fee to me) but the reissued check took awhile due to the holiday season and a very limited staff in the Accounts Payable department. I was fine with the delay.

.

Definitely! They expect us to submit report on time, so they should also pay on time!!!
Not to mention their reimbursement is one of the longest that I've seen from companies.

They apologized today for sending the check 3 weeks late because of their mistake. Funny that because when I inquired why is my payment late, one employee kept insisting they were not. Thanks for nothing.
Cirrus don't pay on time or may not pay at all. Don't do any more shops with them!!!

I don't get why you guys accept all that nonsense , "the checks in the mail". If you had a mortgage to pay ,tell that to the bill collectors, "Its xmas, so I ll be late"!
I chase HilliDunlap almost every time. I don't mind them, because they are easy shops and easy to deal with (other than that), and once I chase I get paid quickly...but their standard turn time is awful
I'm waiting on a Service Sleuths payment that I told won't be paid until the end of April. And that is NORMAL payment schedule. I will definitely not be doing those shops anymore. That will be a total of 11 weeks to get paid! Ridiculous. They only owe me 30 bucks, but still I did your shop on time and well, then you tell me I have to wait til the end of April to get paid/reimbursed? No more for me.

I've heard someone on this board call them Service Sloth because they pay so slowly. ha! That tickled me.
But I like the company and I still work with them. They pay slow, but they pay as promised. Since I can usually float the money until they're ready to pay, and since I like their shops, I'm sticking with them. But I can see why they don't work for everyone.

You have a good point, as long as they pay when promised I can wait. I just don't want to be chasing payments from winter in the summer! lol Thanks!
Ath. Did a shop in December and won't be paid until mid-Feb. No thanks. I like my GFK speedy turnarounds!
