Market Force restricting how many shops you can assign yourself to...

The website explains that the shops will disappear from your view once you've reached whatever quota they've put on a shop. Any idea how many gas stations we can shop before they'll raise the limit beyond five?

Most MSCs control things this way for many good reasons. Sometimes it is the clients requirement. Many times it is to make sure as many shoppers as possible have sufficient opportunities. There is no magic formula with MF, though some MSCs do cater to their preferred shoppers.

So, Market Force won't increase the amount of shops you can self-assign at any point? They aren't like iSS for instance, where you do so many shops you get to self-assign 3, then 7, and so on. Do you do these shops I'm referring to. If so, are you limited to 5 a month?

They limit shops by client in most cases, in others by location (30 days between shops for example). In your situation, if the limit is 5 locations for the client per listing cycle, you still have the other clients available.

I noticed shops I've done for the past two years at a plaza have all disappeared. I'm wondering if it's because I did so many? I still see plenty of burger opps though
I have completed as many as 42 gas stations in a month. I schedule a few for the first available date and a few days later more are listed. Today the shops were listed in my area, I was cut off at 5. I adjusted the map and picked a cluster that were all minutes apart. IF....more become available I will do the same. When the 10th approached (last shop day is the 15th) if my phone is not ringing I make a call. I have the scheduler read the location and reply yes or no until the system cuts me off. The scheduler assigns them all for the last available day. We are allowed to reschedule a shop 1 time. I pull up my work schedule and start moving the days around, load the trunk up with gas cans (exactly 2 gallons every time). I call a few other MSC, I'm gonna be in A on the 11th, B on the 12th......

My boss offered me a full time position today (again) but, I enjoy working on 3-4 hours a day merchandising.
@starz if I understand you correctly...if I complete the 5 I have, I might then get to pick more (if available still?) And finally work up to your level? Is that correct?

I can not promise it but, this has worked for me. Also I am referring to the months of November and December where holidays were involved. In September and October I averaged 25 shops each month.
Their system allows me to pick up 5 and then I don't see anymore in my area. Sometimes, but not always, I see them in area outside of the 60 mile mark that I am traveling to. I pick the earliest dates. Then, once I complete them I will be able to pick up 5 more if other shoppers in my area have not completed them.
Thanks for everyone's feedback. I thought I was losing my mind. When I had requested the 5th shop and went back in to get more they were all gone, and there were at least 20 sitting there. I know I have competition in town, but I couldn't figure out how the heck they snatched them so fast! Now I understand. LOL And I will be more discreet in picking my first five.

lol... North Fork has a restriction on a web based project they offer. It says 2, but I schedule 3, 4, or 5 per day and stagger additional days to do as many as possible. It lets me self-assign them and submit them. I've gotten confirmation emails that they're done correctly, completed, etc... The scheduler lets me continue to do the extra shops. So, it is possible.

Does anyone know are these a regular offering or something new? I've only been with them a few months. Now, NF is one of my main meal tickets. Superstores and grocery stores in my area. Pay in exactly 30 days, like clockwork. I love them.

You mean selective, not discreet?
@JASFLALMT No, I meant discreet; having or showing discernment or good judgment. Another definition of discreet is careful. Discreet has many meanings. As do most words.

The 2nd round of listings hit the boards yesterday. Day and night shops were both listed. I was able to schedule 21 shops before reaching the limit. There were at least 70 more available in my area.
