New Marketforce Website

(Forgive me if this has been discussed already, but a quick search didn't show anything on this topic.)

I'm just filling out my first report on the redesigned Marketforce website, and I can't believe how clunky it is! I liked being able to upload all of my photos at the end. The gas receipt keeps showing up as a replacement for the other photos, and the store receipt won't upload at all (I'm at four minutes and counting).

I never thought I'd say this, but I wish they'd bring back the old site.

It always hangs for me while trying to link a photo or receipt. I found the solution is to just click on my shops (at the top) and reopen the report. It then opens to where I left off and then I can link the photo or receipt with no hang ups. It is frustrating though.
I refresh the page or go back one page and then the photo uploads. It's a PITA, but it works.

I fill out the report on my computer and add the photos while using my cell phone. It seems easiest to me. I submitted my two reports and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be
I was wondering why it was doing that. I've been having to complete my reports on my tablet and enter the pics on my phone. I thought it was my T-Mobile service. Glad I didn't pounce on them, like I was about to, about the issue with my tablet gigs! Thanks for sharing.
Yep, uploading pictures and receipts is a time consuming PITA now. I'm sure the kinks will be worked out eventually and we'll all get used to the new "better" format. smiling smiley

I accidentally clicked the "I don't have a receipt" button and couldn't find a way to undo that. I had to upload the receipt as an extra picture.

What do you think is better about the new website? I liked how the old one worked. I try to print my CPI and it is three pages now...
I don't like the double scrolling windows when searching for jobs and the display limit of five jobs per page which cannot be changed and saved.
The old website was sooooo much better ! On the old website you can see many jobs on 1 screen by scrolling, now I'm unable to. Then it says I have to enter in my SS#, but it's entered already in the profile.

MF should have us to help them design the new site.
In your printer settings you can choose to print only the first page, which should have all the information you need on it.

I just sent the help desk a rather scathing email complaining about the new and super awful site. Where is the reschedule button? Where is the payment history button? Where is the upload receipts/sign CPI button? I told them in my email that I spent ten minutes on their site looking for the above mentioned buttons and that the site was SUPPOSED to be user friendly and easy. I have not had the opportunity to report any shops on the new site yet and I am NOT looking forward to doing a report. They will probably kick me out as a shopper but I'm not about to do work for a company who just made easy job selection, payment and reporting difficult. I did ask rather strongly that they bring back the old site.

Didn't they try this a couple of years ago and it was also a disaster? Is the IT department just looking to make themselves relevant? I did ask who signed off on this ridiculous disaster...
Four years ago the MF website was so easy to navigate. They were my first MSC and I thought the format was simple and fast. Then they started to tweak it and it just became more time consuming and frustrating. After the first rollout, a couple of years ago I started to dread doing any MF reports with how slow and cumbersome it had become it was taking me twice as long to do a simple report. MF is the only time I actually cried doing a report.
I cry when I do Second to None reports, it goes on and on and on and on, next page, next page, omg

.

I was just moved to the new site last Saturday with 2 reports due that morning. I gritted my teeth and prepared for the worst because I had heard bad things. Well, photos take a long time to upload but that's really my only complaint. I initially let panic take me, thinking that everything was not available to me any more, but that's simply not so. Everything that was on the old website is available on the new website. You just have to familiarize yourself with the site.

1. You now upload receipts and sign the CPI in the report. It's all done at one time before you submit the report. It actually is easier and makes a lot more sense. I do hate how long it takes photos to upload, though.

2. The reschedule is under View Assignment Details. When you click on the shop in My Shops, click View Assignment Details. The information for that shop comes up, showing scheduled date, etc. Directly under that are two large buttons: Reschedule and Cancel Assignment.

3. To find Payment History, go to My Account. There are two subsections: Account Details and Payment Details. Under Payment Details, you will find all the same information that was on the old site.

Except for the photo loading delay, I actually like the new site. It's streamlined. You no longer have to go 3 different places to submit a report.
Thanks for the feedback. I went back in and looked around more and found everything but the reschedule. It was still much more convenient and intuitive to have everything on the left side instead of hiding all over the place. Agreed that signing the CPI and submitting the receipts within the report does make more sense. What I really hate though is that you can only see five jobs per page. I looked up one city where I plan to travel and there were 357 shops within 100 miles. THAT would take forever to go through to go through a list like that. I sent then another email telling them that the five per page was not a good thing and why.
To view more than 5 shops per page, go to the bottom of the list and change the number of shops per page. You choose the number of shops per page you want to view. There are currently 76 shops in my area. I changed the shops per page to 76 ...... and voila! all on the same page.

Why not post your questions here before sending any more emails to the Help Desk? If you find out the answers here, you won't need to send the emails.
I did a report last night on the new site and the pictures actually loaded quickly. I hope they permanently fixed the problem and it will always work this way going forward. I still miss my two hand approach where I could advance a page on the old site by pressing the enter key. It was much faster than only using the mouse.

I still have the old website. Am I the only one?
I have the old site too (for now) I was one of the testers back a few months ago and had that new site..... ugh... I hope a lot of improvements were made. tongue sticking out smiley
Lucky you guys who still have the old site! And per the question as to why I sent emails to the help desk instead of posting out here first... My issue is that the site used to be so easy and efficient and now it's not. It was so easy to have everything on the menu to the left. Making the site more difficult to use was unnecessary. The only change that I agree with is putting the receipts and the CPI inside the report, but if I had to give that up to go back to the old site, I would do it with glee.
Time of day has a lot to do with how quickly pics will load. If I get a breakfast shop and enter it right away, the pics load VERY quickly. If I'm entering after 5pm, the loading is SLOW because lots of people are entering their reports at the end of their work day. I like being able to enter using my smart phone - I can get it entered within minutes of completing the shop as I sit parked in a shopping center nearby.
Now that I've seen what guanadu said about the menu on the left I realize I have the old site. I thought that maybe just so few changes had been made that I hadn't noticed. The menu is definitely at the left: Shopper info, mgmt, pymt., etc. with the shops to choose from in the middle. I see 50 available shops without having to go to the next page. I hope they keep mine the same!
After the fail of their last attempt with a new site, this time, MF is rolling out this new site in a controlled manner. I had no choice in the matter, but recently, I was bestowed the new site. So far, my main concern is the search function. I've tweaked and twiddled. I've watched the videos. I've made changes, though am not satisfied as it's not working as easily as it used to be.

Many shoppers I know still have the old site. Lucky, them. I wish the ability to return to the classic site was an option.
The more I use this site, the more difficult I find it. I did a video certification and the button to click back to the other videos doesn't work. Then after doing a certification test, the next screen doesn't tell you whether you passed or not. Almost a blank screen, but with a MF header and bottom, and no other information. This new site isn't ready.
Every 4 months I get an email that I need to update my profile page. However with the new website, the "Save Changes" link doesn't do anything. I have reported this to the Help Desk but after 8 months it still doesn't work. Can anyone else save changes to their profile page with the new website?

I am able to access my profile but it won't save. I am using Internet Explorer. I wonder if it works with other browsers.
