Maritz

Does Maritz have a job log page. I did a few jobs and haven't gotten paid and I can't find any records on their site.

The job was the gas station night time photo shoot. There was no invoice. The shop was in my job log for a few weeks then it disappeared. I can't find any link to a job log or payment history page like most other shops have.
As soon as you finish debriefing your shop you click "return to visit details page" and in blue you will see a link that says something about an invoice. Click on that and enter your shop number, fill in the blanks, and you have your invoice. Click submit. At this point, you need to call them to get help.
They are now called Virtuoso 2. I can never get assigned any jobs. I apply and apply and get nothing. I have even called the different teams. Why send me jobs if your not going to hore me. I love gas stations and they have alot.
Has anyone had problems with a scheduler saying your pics are on the wrong shops??! I knew i was right I had been there before and i drove back 100 miles each way at 4 in the morning to prove i was right. She still argued with me. I called her i talked to her supervisor and i tried to talk to the client because I loved doing these shops and i would do 5-10 at a time. I even took pics of the employees to prove to myself i was not going crazy and matched the pics of the gas stations with the employees pics . She still told me i was confusing my shops. The customer would not let me do anymore of their shops! I wish i could of done something else to prove myself. I do not understand why she did that to me??! I always liked her. Anyone else have this crazyiness happen when they knew they were right but not allowed to prove themselves to the Customer! ! Just like our payments, our reputations are on the line and we are at the schedulers mercy!! They can change things or move or delete things and we are the ones that suffer.!! We dont get paid and our reputation is damaged and we might not of even done anything wrong. In fact i always wonder how many times my pics and reports are used even tho the scheduler says they are not useable!! I am not picking on schedulers, i love them, most of them!! Why oh why change up a shoppers pictures tho so the customer will not give them another chance??!! MAYBE THE SCHEDULER HAS A FRIEND THAT WANTS THOSE SHOPS-WHAT A WAY TO GET THEM!!?? JUST SAYIN??!#
Actually, a receipt for one, would prove that you were at the correct shop. As for pics, a photo of the address on the storefront and some kind of photo of the street markings (I usually take a photo of the street name in an overall shot) works.
Last of all, ask the scheduler or supervisor what kind of photo is needed to prove to them you were at the correct location. Do not argue, just ask and be reasonable.
BTW, IMO, talking to the client (shop owner or attendant) is just wrong and a shopper should never do that. If you told Maritz that you did that, you are probably done with them!
.
You can call them up and ask them the status of a shop completed. My first year with them, I missed invoicing 3 or 5 shops......They were more than happy to submit the invoice over the phone. Within a few weeks, I was payed for the missing shops.

You always have to invoice every shop!

Actually, based on your second post in this thread, a more accurate statement would be:

I can no longer get assigned any jobs.

Based on what you wrote, the client asked you to be removed from the project.
That request is final. They aren't going to lose the client. You will be replaced. We aren't employees. We are IC's. We aren't owed anything.

I was put into the naughty chair for scoring too high on a client. Guess what? These store have travertine tiles and marble countertops. The cars are often custom, Ferraris, Mazerattis, etc. The stores are spotless. One store has an attendant out full-time who just cleans, cleans windshields and chats with the customers. They always get 100%. I had to allot myself enough stores in the bad parts of the area in order to get a more balanced score. For awhile, I was not able to take any shops. There was no real arguement. What could I do? I'm not calling the client. That's insane. If the client asks for me to be removed, I am removed. That's how IC works.
There is two rules you need to follow when it comes to Maritz. The first rule is, if you use the app always take additional photos outside of the app, just Incase especially when your driving a long distance. I personally try to take several photos of the ones they always question like the canopy from different angles. The second rule is you have to invoice everything and if it's been several weeks and you haven't been paid and you question whether you invoiced it you need to go on their website and click invoice and put the number in. It will generally tell you if it was invoiced or not I made a mistake when I first started out with them and missed invoicing a couple of shops. They were always real good about it, you need to call in and speak to somebody in that department. Also you need to make sure that you keep track of exactly what you have done especially when you're using the app. I personally print out everything and then use that as my receipt, writing the invoice number on my paper. I keep and staple the receipts to my paperwork. That way I always know whether or not I invoiced that specific job and they can also use that invoice number to search to see if you were paid for it.
interesting. i did a dark shop for them on January 12th, probably the exact same shop you did. the shop sat as completed for 2 months before finally disappearing. i was never paid, or told it was rejected. i have contacted maritz at least a dozen times, and every time i'm told they'll leave a note with the supervisor, and i should expect to receive a call back, yet i've never received a call back. i have never had a problem with maritz before as far as communication goes, but this is getting absurd. i don't know what to do at this point. the supervisor is ducking me.

Maritz is a MSPA member, and the contact they list for MSPA is "Shopper Contact: (636) 827-3960." Is that the number you have called?

Joe Kromer, with Maritz, is on the MSPA Board of Directors. After a dozen contacts with no call-back or response, I would be contacting Joe Kromer to report that I was having difficulty reaching the supervisor and to ask for his help in resolving the matter.
