Maritz Bank Shops

I did a bank shop this weekend. The morning I had an e-mail that the shop # and date were not legible on one of the items. I input it via the app but couldn't fix it via the app. So before going to my full time job I too care of it on my laptop. I am now getting another item that needs to be re-entered as they can't read the date (for the same shop). Really Maritz - 1 item at a time?

I think they have a new, overzealous editor. I performed two bonused bank shops. The second one did not go smoothly so I documented everything in the comments section at the end of the report.

Guess what? Both shops were put "on hold." The second one asked for clarification on my answers which were already covered in my commentary. I called the team and told them that if the editors don't even bother to read my comments, why should I bother writing them? I also said that if this is not straightened out, I will cancel my other bonused bank shops.

Guess what? When I returned home, all holds were gone. All of my remaining shops are still showing.
What? Overzealous editor at Maritz? I'm shocked...perplexed...

And just like dust, I will rise.
Damn editors are killing me! If I had any more shops assigned, I would do as Sybil has done. I zipped through 11 shops yesterday. I'm waiting for Maritz to choke when they realize I did the shops on Monday (federal holiday). As I predicted, they put the first one on hold this morning. BEFORE, finalizing three shops that they've had on hold for three days (3 days since I re-submitted). It's so frustrating when they keep all the crap on the computer screen. Once I hit re-submit it should do something other than say "on hold." I literally have to go in and see if it's still on hold or if they put it on hold again. UGGH. I'm not taking anymore Martiz's shops for at least a month.

Shopping up and down the Colorado Rocky Mountain front range.
I did three bank shops that were fine and this last one got a poor score from me because the banker skipped A LOT of steps and used a sailor's amount of harsh profanity. I wonder if it is ON HOLD because it was not positive. I was very objective and gentle in my report considering how unprofessional the person was..
WTF? I just got home and now a blue bank that has already been "corrected" has the following message: "Held for internal review. You will be contacted if there is a problem. Please return to 'My Current Shops'." This is that 2nd shop from the other day where the banker totally screwed up the presentation. So I have to be punished for her ineptness?
I had a bank shop go south on me once. The presentation was not good. It was anything but clear and the banker skipped a couple of steps like pointing out certain fees. The bank contested it, and I was contacted for clarification of a few points. I tried to be gentle in my reporting but I was also honest. Although to be fair, tact is not my strong suit. However, the bank threatened to pull me from the project. I didn't back down, and they have not banned me from the banks. Just be sure if you get a bad presentation to take copious notes afterwards.
@CoffeeQueen a bad presentation from the banker got you banned. That is horrible. They want honesty, we give it and get in trouble for it. Not right.

Sybil- you are not being punished; that is just Maritz' way of (supposedly) randomly picking shops for some higher level review.
Pegleg- Maritz has long conducted editor corrections in this manner...it is like death from a thousand cuts. I have even had them ask for a closer shot of the counter, and then, two days later, ask for a longer shot. They ended up liking the original photo!
They are difficult to work with, use neanderthal communications, and they are cheap (but pay fast, their only attribute).

I completely agree, Winemaker. I worked with Maritz back in the stone ages when they use to send out packages to mail and printed out the forms to enter. They've always been a company that constantly has issues and contacts their shoppers all the time, typically by phone. Whenever I've scheduled a shop with them by phone, they are slow and act as if they don't know what they are doing when it comes to computers. And yes, low paying is an understatement. They do pay on time though...
