Anyone care to share with experience with Secret Shopper?

Yes, so sad. I love all of my $300+ items and so do my daughters. I could only schedule those jobs in the first week of the month they were offered; a few times as it appeared those were not grabbed up quickly due to the quick turnaround.. I miss that client!!!? It is so frustrating as I miss their shop postings and wonder how they get snatched up so fast. Their job posting schedule is not accurate.

Yes for March jobs I looked at their site at 3 AM one late night in Feb and no March jobs were posted. I woke up 7 hours later and all the March shops(the good ones) were posted and filled already.
I mainly use them for when I go to Canada. They have a 5 star hotel chain client up there with regular shops and I always snag a flat-rate reimbursed night when I'm headed that direction -- It's a nice way to save a night of hotel charges and cap off a long weekend with a night at a 5 star establishment. The flat-rate is nice because it's quoted in USD -- so you make a few bucks with the exchange rate. Locally they only have a handful of rather boring small clients... I tested them with those but after that they mainly serve to provide my free Canadian hotel day... the report is not bad... nothing like Coyle etc.
I just completed my first shop with them a week ago. The deadline is noon Central time, the day after the shop. I am in Pacific time, so that's 10 a.m. As luck would have it I woke up late and almost forgot to enter the shop. I remembered the noon deadline but forgot about the time zone until later.

The survey was not difficult, but being my first time filing it out, it took me a while to fill out. I finally submitted it about 12:30 my time if I recall correctly, so it was about 2.5 hours late. I probably should have emailed a coordinator but I didn't.

Over the next few days, I kept checking the status, and nothing changed, even after the typical 3 days most companies make you wait if they have questions.

I finally emailed a coordinator, who replied that my shop was in editing status and it could take up to TEN business days to finish editing.

That's two weeks! Of course every company wants us to hurry up and submit, sometimes within as little as 8 hours, because they need timely information. This being an ice cream shop in a mall, probably they have high turnover that could mean the person no longer even works there in a couple of weeks.

The coordinator advised me to write back with all the reference numbers if nothing happens by the end of 10 days. I imagine by that time they will tell me it's too late to fix.

For those who've worked with Secret Shopper, is this typical? I liked the shop in every way, and the $15 flat pay is pretty good. The ice cream was mad good.
They are on my do not do list. I did an ice cream shop using their app and it blurred the receipt. Two weeks later they reach out to me.

Besides in my area they primarily do dental shops.
I've done a few things with them... They've been straight-forward, easy shops and easy reports. Working with the company has been easy... My only issue is that they don't have many clients near me. I've done a shop for their shoe client near me and it's pretty awkward: I have larger-than-average feet and their client does not carry my shoe size... Alas....
