See Level "Premier Shopper"?

Hi folks

I'm a new member who actually discovered secret shopping through this forum. I'd been using GigWalk and Field Agent and while researching some issues related to them come upon postings here. I'm grateful for all the helpful advice which has allowed me to do quite a few shops in the past few months. I did research the archives and didn't see this particular question addressed, but apologies if I missed it.

I recently got an email from a See Level scheduler asking me to do a last-minute shop due tomorrow which has been on their board for a while. This isn't a week where I was planning on doing any shops due to other work I have due. I wrote back and requested a very modest bonus and the scheduler sent a reply with the guidelines and time frame but no reference to a bonus, which I'm assuming is their way of saying "no."

They did pitch the ability to join their "premier shopper" program with first dibs on future shops. Has anyone reached this status and is it worth taking a shop one wouldn't otherwise do?

Many thanks
Noah

Clarify in a return email the bonus requested. I got kind of bullied recently into doing an odd shop, didn't get the bonus, and after I turned in a very long and detailed report. It sits there forever, I've noticed. It was a niche shop with a small reimbursement but I ended up spending too much money just to find something useful! But I do alot of shops for this MSC so I just let it slide as a lesson learned.
Premier is a hoax in my opinion. I also received an offer to do a shop miles from me for 15.00 and become one their Premier shoppers, getting to see the best jobs first. This was another company, not Seelevel...in my eyes, it's a tease.

If you look up "Hero Citation" in the dictionary you will find Premier Shopper listed as one of the synonyms. It has the equivalent value.

Thanks for the advice. I did indeed write back a very polite note explaining while I realized there may not be a budget to bonus this shop it meant I wouldn't be an appropriate candidate for it. A few minutes later I got a reply email assigning me the shop with the bonus. I'll let you all know how my new life as a "Premier Shopper" is going once my status is upgraded. smiling smiley
I am a premier shopping after completing one of their car negotiation shops. I see no added benefit yet. I too feel it is like that hero citation.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Man o man. I have been emailing back and forth with my favorite scheduler at See Level HX all day (yes on Sunday). I wonder if I am premier? Hmm. Maybe just in my own mind?
Is it noted on your account? I only have 44 shops (with the new company). Rating is 10. Nothing about premier though.
I was looking for a thread on this today and dint see one and now here I find one....as I tried to get a Seelevel shop today and I got an error message that I don't have premier status so I can't assign the shop to myself. I was bummed because I have been self assigning these shops for about a year and now I can't. It says you have to already have GeoVerify shops completed with them for the status but it also says they are just now requiring this. So it looks like one has to wait around and do the shops more last minute, then use GeoVerify and then in the future you will be premier.... just my observation not sure that is the exact process.....

Interesting because while my SeeLevel shops have the GeoVerify logo on the "print" copy, the actual input report has no space for it. I wrote to my scheduler a long time ago about that. The scheduler had no idea what I was talking about. I did three SeeLevel shops this month. There was nothing on the input form for a GeoVerify. It must be a client thing. IntelliShop requires it, fyi.

@PuaM thanks for your response! It might be a client thing as I only do one shop/client for Seelevel so maybe for your shop it isn't needed... is the GeoVerify new for Intellishop? I do shops for them somewhat regularly but it's just one client and I have never used GeoVerify for it... I have GeoVerify downloaded I've just never been forced to use it in my 1 year of shopping...guess there is a 1st for everything!

There is an IntelliShop cable company shop in my area that requires not only a GeoVerify but an exterior photo (that's like wearing suspenders and a belt. The point of the photo isn't to show signage but to validate the evaluator was there.) When I first started at SeeLevel, I used GeoVerify on one of its client shops. But that stopped at least a year ago. Around here, SeeLevel seems to assign Premiere status to folks who do credit card shop/financial shops. I am sure it is difficult to get folks to do credit card bank applications as there are only so many one can do before one has no credit rating at all! I am not going to blow my credit rating for $50 smiling smiley and Premiere status.

Beginning this month, we are releasing shops a few days early for shoppers who are a part of our Premier Shoppers program. A day or so after being posted for Premier Shoppers, these shops will be made available for everyone to apply for or self-assign.

--What is a “premier shopper”?--
Premier shopper status is earned by shoppers who help us out with some of our exclusive programs. By doing a shop for one of these exclusive programs, shoppers are granted this status. Premier shoppers get “first access” to apply/self-assign some of our most popular programs.

--What programs will grant me premier shopper status?--
Please email for this info.

--I completed a shop on one of these programs above, when will my premier shopper status be added?--
We update the list once a week based on shops that are sent to the client. If your shop one of the programs above is still in QA, then you will not be granted the status yet.

--How long will my premier status last?--
For now, as long as you are doing monthly/quarterly shops on one of the programs listed above, you will retain your premier shopper status.

A day or so after being posted for Premier Shoppers, these shops will be made available for everyone to apply for or self-assign.

Please email with any questions!

Thanks for all the great information. What about the GeoVerify that someone asked about? That confuses me, too. It isn't asked for on the actual evaluation but it is on the "print" version. Thanks.

The shops that allow a GeoVerify code have a input area for it.

I know. I just wonder why the sample forms show Geo but not the input form.

I can't answer that as the shops I do have an input area for the code. Many MSCs copy templates so maybe for the shop you are referencing they overlooked this or plan to add it.

Using GeoVerify has nothing to do with Premier Shopper status.

"Become a preferred shopper by using your iPhone or Android phone to verify your location when doing GeoVerify-enabled shops" does not refer to the Premier Shopper program.

So there is a "Preferred" shopper status as well as a "Premier" shopper status? I'm going to need a cheat sheet to keep track of all the shopper status tiers at SeeLevel...
