I signed up for my first shop with Goodwin Hospitality. It was supposed to be today. I got an email this morning indicating "I had been unassigned." My rating states -30. Does this normally happen? Any thoughts?

No. This has never happened to me with Goodwin in the 7 years I've worked with them. I have gotten an email from a couple of other companies canceling a shop at various times over the years. The cancellation email usually explains the reason, like the client has canceled or the shop needs to be performed in a specific time period (or by a specific demographic) because the client wants to target a certain event or employee, or because the location has closed. Did the cancellation email offer any explanation?
They've canceled a few shops near me that have been closing down, so the owner doesn't need them shopped. They always assure me my rating won't be affected it (why would it, exactly? Not my fault!). Is the -30 because of this canceled shop or because of something else? If it's because of this, reach out to them and they will make it right.
