Timeshare presentation

Has anyone ever did a timeshare presentation where you have to purchase and then cancel the next day? I have one coming up this weekend. It will be my first.

Thanks @eyelove2shop, I am doing one this weekend so I will report back on how it goes. So I'm guessing you didn't pick up the shop that you were talking about?

Nah, I passed. I am not a gambler and I don't like losing money. There are some that don't require the purchase of a timeshare, just the evaluation of one. That is something I'm more comfortable doing. My scheduler offered it to me but by the time I responded, it was scheduled to another shopper.

Since it's in the US, I don't think my credit card company would have an issue with taking the charge off if I could show them that I properly cancelled within the time frame. Also, I am to cancel the next morning so I don't think it will be a problem. I know someone that does week long shops frequently and has never had an issue but I never asked if she had to purchase anything. But I will definitely update next week.
