For Sentry, how many casual dining shops does one need to do before being eligible for fine dining shops?

Does Sentry have any guidelines regarding how many casual dining shops a new (to them) shopper must do before they will be eligible for fine dining shops? (Obviously, I'm assuming the casual dining shops were acceptable and were done well.) In other words, is there a magic number of casual dining shops completed after which an editor will input something into the shoppers record making him eligible for fine dining? Also, does Sentry provide the shopper with a score once a shop is completed?

Which state are you in? I have worked for Sentry and went right into fine dining after one fast food shop. They assigned me a total of 4 fine dining assignments after that. I do not work for them anymore because I find the long fine ding reports tedious. I shopped their mid range fine dining chain in the Boston area, felt the suburbs shops hang on the board awhile.
Now that I think of it, my first shop was fast food, and my second shop a fine dining lunch.
I believe the lunches are harder to fill. I also stopped the fine dining as I lost my shopping partner, and if you were in Boston area I may partner up with someone to teach them the ropes and be able to dine with someone else.

I don't think there is a hard and fast rule. I did one fine dining shop for them fairly soon after starting for them. I think it depends on the scheduler and what they need to fill. Could you talk to the scheduler and see what is available? They might be able to get you a different kind of shop that what is on the board. Edit: I don't recall seeing a score or much feedback from Sentry. I haven't shopped for them since I moved out of the area, so I don't know for sure.

OK, am I the only one who read the title and thought, "Sentry has fine dining?"

Congrats. Perhaps I should check them out. smiling smiley

I actually thought they must be talking about Coyle, thus my deleted response. I will change my search parameters to figure out what the OP is talking about.

Dave, what areas does Sentry offer fine dining opportunities in?

It could also be that when you apply for those shops, they may assign the shops to someone else. It could be determined by who applied for the shops first before they assign you the shop.
