It's been a week. Market Force doesn't want me?

Hi there,
New mystery shopper here. I applied/registered for Market Force about a week ago and still haven't heard anything. Does it normally take this long? At this point, I can't even remember what the registration entailed. Any thoughts?

Yes, they can take up to two weeks. Frustrating, but I think that they are very understaffed.
You're not missing out on much. Their shops are low paying. $4.25 - $8/shop. On rare occasions they lose it and offer a whopping $14 for some audits. Don't waste your time. Sign up with sassie msc's which pay better on average.
There are a few marketforce shops that may be worth it as fillers or for a free lunch or dinner. The main benefit would be to grab a MF to get toll reimbursement up to $20. I had a friend apply and get denied recently but the email went to the spam folder so make sure to check your spam op.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
It took me way in excess of two weeks to get approved earlier this year. It might have been as long as six. I had also assumed I wouldn't be accepted and then weeks later the approval email showed up.
Jlovesnyc, MF is worth it. Yes, many of their shops pay low but they will bonus at times. I did 2 audits recently for $80 each. I did them in the same day. It took about 4 hours total time and they were located about 15 miles away from my house. I have made $25 plus reimbursement for their burger shops a few times. Years ago I did other shops for them where I received bonuses over $100. Many forum members have received the same.
They do incentives when they are desperate of course, but their typical shop no longer makes any sense to accept. Unless your going there for personal reasons anyway so you might as well pick up a $4 shop while there. In the past I would chase the $4 and $5 shops because I was unaware of the SASSIE system, now I make mf chase me when they are desperate to meet a deadline. My revenues have gone up 55% since ditching mf. I'm just going with the. Math bro.
After shopping for 16 years and doing shops for over 100 different companies, I've found it isn't wise to ditch any MSC. Yes, I won't do their base pay shops, but I'm happy to take their bonused shops. When other shoppers flake or screw up shops, or a shop is near deadline, they pay well...and who am I to turn down easy money, LOL?
The last burger shop I had was bonus at 60 dollars. I'd say it's worth it for 1.5 hours of driving and 10 minutes of reporting.

I've been registered with Market Force for a year and am yet to see a shop that make sense to me.... It's come close a couple of times: I am going to be at a mall today where one of their jewelry shops was located for $20. Unfortunately, the last day to do the shop was yesterday and it has not been extended... However, it is posted as a "new" May shop for $8 - starting Monday. #?@!

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
I wait for them to call me with bonused shops. They can make it worthwhile. The good side of MF is that many shops are easy and the reports simple. Some I won't touch.

No fee, no shop.

Looks like OP already got accepted, but just to re: your last comment, I always thought Market Force was one of the better staffed. Am I wrong?

Their help desk has always gotten back to me pretty quickly. Other companies I shop for sometimes never respond. MF seems very reliable and organized in that sense.

I don't like their pay and survey length as much as other companies', but I tend to view them as really well organized and efficient.

Do you ask for that amount or did a representative offer it to you?
