"I'll gladly pay you in two or more months for a hamburger today"
No pay here for February shops yet. I smell a "cash flow" problem with this company. The signs are there.
1/An excessively long period of time between accepting completed shops and paying for them (60+ days).
2/Refusal to use any payment vehicle other than check. (Paypal?)
3/Until recently, checks were always released (mailed) around the 11th or 12th of the month, even though when you receive it the first thing you notice is that it is dated the last day of the previous month. About two months ago, they began releasing checks on the 15th. Red Flag
4/Most alarmingly, this month they have had the dreaded "computer problems", sending an e-mail out last week ago that checks dated 31MAR "were wrong due to a computer error" with NO ASSURANCES on when the corrected checks will be disbursed. "Sometime next week". MAJOR Red Flag
Something is rotten in Cincinnati.
In lieu of the fact that many of what are now high-risk shops require an outlay of money by the mystery shopper ($5-$8 per hamburger restaurant) that doesn't get reimbursed for 60+ days, I have reconsidered my affiliation with them, while simultaneously praying that I at least get my
(name)Burger Money reimbursed.
