I accepted a shop for a pretty good amount of money (to me anyway) to drive 2 hours round trip. I picked up a couple others on the way to help make it worth it. I get all the way there and find out that the location was closed. It was 2 in the afternoon and it was a well known fast food place. I even called that morning to see if they were open and they verified yes. SO!!! I get there and the sign out front says NOW CLOSED. There are people there and cars in the stalls. I even verified with an employee and they were cleaning out the kitchen and throwing food away.
Whomever did the QC on this one cut my fee in HALF, as it says on all assignments, if the location is closed yada yada. What I don't get is why a QC evaluating a location closed IN MY TOWN has given me the full fee when this QC cut it in half because, you know, "rules".
Has anyone had luck with getting them to reverse a decision like this? I would never have driven that far for the cut fee. Even with the others I picked up.
Thanks.
