How Do I Get Rid Of Gigspot?

I made the mistake of signing up for them but I hate their software. When I go to the Strategic Reflections website and log in, it takes me directly to the Gigspot site. Is there a way to disable this so that I can log on directly with Strategic Reflections? TIA

Membership is free. Simply choose your username, type in your email address, and choose a password. You immediately get full access to the forum.

I sent an email to info@gigspot.com I got a very polite email response within an hour from Rebecca at Gigspot saying my account had been deleted.

There are several threads about this, and apparently everyone who sends an email requesting deletion does not get an immediate response like I did. If you do a search, you can read a lot of discussion about Gigspot and deletion.

Thanks, rofl! I searched Gigspot on the forum and didn't see that.

You used to be able to log in to one or the other, but Rebecca told me that for security integrity of both sites you now have to opt out of the MSC or GigSpot site. I chose to opt out of GigSpot because the site does not have all of the shops listed for the MSCs and there is no way to filter your search. But I have been trying to register with several additional MSCs and all but one are directing to signup on GigSpot.

Similar experience here. Rebecca deleted my account and I was good to go. Had a long email conversation w Taylor at Coyle about my struggles and he indicated he had heard much of the same issues w other shoppers.

Which companies are those?

Servimer, Texas Shoppers Network and Ace Mystery Shopping are just three.

I might remember this wrong, but when I tried to log in to one of my regular companies, it directed me to Gigspot. I was on my PC, and the screen said "opt out of Gigspot HERE". So I clicked "HERE", and another screen came up and said it was a warning that my action would be "permanent and non-reversible". Since
I hadn't gotten the app to work one single time, I permanently opted out.

I just noticed that Mercantile is no longer listed under Gigspot. I had to go to their regular web site. I wonder if they opted out of Gigspot. I did not receive an email notifying me of a change.
