Ardent

I tried to sign up with them, but got the notice "this e-mail already exists". Well, OK, guess that means I'm already signed up. So I go to "log in", and I get a notice "the e-mail is wrong".

What am I doing wrong, or have they gone out of business or something?

Thanks for any insight.

You can't login with them until you have completed their training. Sometimes this can take a year or more from when you applied.

cease, you have to be invited to the in person training. That happens when they need new shoppers. For me, it took a year after I signed up.

The training is at their client from 9am to 12pm. They go over their expectations and you get feedback from the employees.

After the training, you will receive log in instructions for the site. After your first shop, you get paid for the training in the regular pay cycle.

Check the client name thread on the MS forum. There is a ton of information there. I posted my experience about the training.

Thanks. I take it the client thread is about the client that had...shall we say, "food borne illness" problems a while back?
Just to let y'all know -- Ardent PM'ed me, and I'll soon be set up for training.

VERY responsive of them!

I'm impressed!
I am very interested in shopping with Ardent as well, I signed up last month and haven't heard anything. Maybe they don't need shoppers in the New Orleans area yet.
I would say, from the PM I received, that they read this forum. They are responsive to e-mails, as well. If they have a need for shoppers in your area, I'll bet you hear from them soon!

Good luck.

Heads up with the added add on that reimbursement needs to make it a little less profitable. And the kids choice also seems to not be viable this month.
I don't understand what you said.

Asking for an ingredient on the side doesn't necessarily cost anything. I always get sour cream on the side and I am never charged extra.
I understand what you mean now. I did a "dry run" order, and I could not get the kids' chips.

More money, more calories!

Do the stores not care that adults order kid's meals? I've only been shopping a few months for them, and have yet to do a kid's meal. Just curious if this signals you out as the shopper, to order a kid's meal as an adult, then sit in the restaurant and eat it.
Never been a problem or issue for me at several locations. Now that I know more about the kids meal I would do it on a non shop too. I get a decent sized meal for under five bucks. My only complaint is the salsa counted as one of the side items. Many Mexican FF chains have a free salsa bar.
Looks like order method this round is not perfected and super excess time to resolve is happening. No extra pay ....
For the required phone call, I have often asked, "Do you offer a senior discount?" to which I am told no, but I could order a kid's meal. Less food, less $$$.
Has anyone been able to complete the online order WITHOUT paying for it? The only available option was to enter a cc. I could not go forward without paying online. The instructions say not to pay online.

When placing an online or app order, at the end, you have the option to pay in the restaurant. Don't select any payment method. Look for the pay later button.

Oh, so we can't order online and get the kids' chips? Dang it. I haven't done that client shop in a long time because of the drop in fee, but figured I'd take it this month since it shouldn't be as time consuming.

I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
It's been explicitly stated in the instructions for the past 3 months (which is how long I've been with the company) that kids' chips are not allowed. It's nothing to do with the online order.

What nonsense. That's totally wrong.

Janalou, I had the same problem. When I tried to place my order online, it would not allow me to proceed without entering a credit card. I was trying to order as a guest. I had to create an account in order to bypass the credit card.

I get kids' chips whenever they are available. It's never been a problem. There doesn't seem to be a big difference in the amount of chips in either bag. The regular size chips come in a huge bag, but only fill about a quarter of the bag.

Just change form of payment when CC comes up on the screen. The last option is pay in store.

That is explicitly false.
I don't remember when the last time was that I did a shop, but they were allowing the kids' chips last time around. Have they changed that again?

I did notice that on their online ordering system, when I checked it after they'd changed the fee and was trying to figure out if that shop was still worth doing, that kids' chips aren't listed. But they are available "on request" in the locations. So, it sounds to me as if we can't get kids' chips this month because we have to order online?

I actually think this month is more time-consuming. The only thing you eliminate is standing in line. There's never a line in my area.
