Rental Car shops being done?

Hello, does anyone know of any MSC's that will be or are doing rental car shops? I will be doing a bit of travel this year and I would like to incorporate them into my shopping.

I haven't seen them real recently, but both SeeLevel and Intellishop have had them in the past...

I saw one several months ago that required the shopper to pick the car up, park it in a nearby lot, and return it at the end of the shop. So the shopper was not supposed to drive the car around. Is that typical for a rental car shop?
I saw one last year similar to what MSF describes. It certainly makes sense from the msc/client point of view. Of course we would like to be able to take advantage of the rental car while we are "working" and getting it reimbursed. But alas that one was just like most retail shops where you go, try, try one, ask prices and then are not reimbursed for purchasing anything significant. Just a fee.

I did this one and while it was a pain shuttling 4 cars to park n ride and back the next day, it paid very well and I got rental credits on my various frequent customer account w each agency.

Glad it turned out to be a good shop for you, foodluvr. I have always wanted to do a car rental shop and was thrilled when I saw that one, only to be let down after reading the shop requirements. I guess like sandyf said, it's like many retail shops, where you don't get to use and enjoy the goods/services.

I would hope not, that really does not make sense.
That certainly took the wind out of the sail for me and made me pass on it. Also, I would think an astute rental car employee would notice that the car was returned with a minuscule amount of mileage on it.
I did do one of the shops.... It let me use the car for the entire day and I enjoyed making a day route in a new convertible Camaro.
