It's been a while since I've done a shop for SeeLevel. I have always found them to be a fine MSC - they just haven't had shops in the area that have interested me.... As I hear of the POV requirements becoming more stringent, I have to wonder what has happened that has spurned such changes. Most likely, the MSC has been burned more than a few times by shoppers trying to cheat the system - doctoring receipts, for instance. I am certain that the vast majority of us are honest, hard-working folks. However, there are always a few jerks in any group that make it more difficult for the rest of us..... We don't have to like the changes, agree with them or understand them. We are given the guidelines and either accept them or leave the shop for somebody else.
This completely reminds me of my parking shop that was rejected recently: I had a cashier's name from his name tag, photograph, and computer-printed name on the receipt. However, this was not good enough because the client also wanted the cashier's signature on the receipt. It was in the guidelines and I did everything else. I simply forgot to ask for the signature. That's on me. I don't have to like it, but that's the way it goes.
Now, I suggest we start a campaign to draw and quarter any and all shoppers who cheat the system and make life more difficult for the rest of us....
