How many calls did you get from maritz today?

Me, 4. All while in the midst of doing THEIR assigments! All went unanswered, of course.

I received four (4) return calls on a message I had left yesterday. Four different people have called me today. But, if I needed help......I'd get voicemail.

Shopping up and down the Colorado Rocky Mountain front range.
They have stopped calling me for a while.. but they know I can point them in the right direction as to who to look for shopper wise geographically speaking.
they are crazy..that is why I stopped working for them..they used to sent me e-mail about each single assignment in the area...and called as well..

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
Am I the only one that doesn't mind those calls? They're offering me work and I'm very likely to take it. Either that or they're calling with concerns about holds, which is also understandable.

It doesn't bother me.

My phone rings, caller ID says it's Maritz, I don't answer, they leave a message.

Usually, it's someone needing a shop done soon.

If I can do it, I self-assign or call them back. If I can't do it, I delete the call.

No worries.

No you are not. Not only do I pick up the phone if I see it is Maritz calling but I will return the call if a message is left.
I have not received any calls the last couple days, but I've done quite a few shops for them the last week or so (including some today)... I love it when they call: It seems to always mean that they are asking me to do a shop similar to what I've done before and are offering bonus money. If somebody wants to call and offer me extra money, how can I complain?

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
exactly. A phone call from Maritz is typically pretty good for my bottom line. I often say "woo hoo" before answering.
I'm so dependent on Martz at this point that I usually know more about what they have to offer than they do before they call. Still, I'm as polite as csn be because that goes a LONG way with This company.

Yeah, but I can't really answer the calls while a banker is explaining products to me.

The problem is when they call to offer work which is not bonused or bonused only at the rate which they advertise on their website. I find it highly insulting that they think that they can get a shopper for $9.50 plus a phone call and just as annoying that they think that their website is not already regularly read.
I minded the last 3 of the 4 phone calls I received that day. Only because each of the callers was calling for exactly the same thing and then making no notation on my file of the conversation. It was frustrating. It was a matter of me having left them a voicemail stating that I had written the wrong visit ID on the documents. I knew the answer was to just wait until they put the report on hold. It's my stupidity for having called them in the first place. Anyway, they approved the report without putting it on hold. Not sure if the editor corrected the visit ID themselves (what are the odds) or the editor just didn't catch the discrepancy.

Maritz seems to have moved into the technological present. I no longer have to put ID visits on their receipt photos not to mention having to rename all my photos with the visit ID number. Now if they can get their mobile app to work for gas stations and grocery stores, I would sign up for more of them.
