Are you chasing any payments this month?

I have a shop from March and two from April, none of which have been paid. On the one hand, I hate chasing down payments; on the other hand, there are a limited number of gas shops in my area (I really should apply to new companies).

To top it off, I'm getting no responses from anyone at the company.

Thankfully, no. However, I did last month. The payment was almost 2 months late, but the MSC was apologetic and expedited payment. And yes, it's always great to apply to as many MSCs as you can...helps provide consistent work and income.
Nope. I expected to after doing my first shop for Cirrus. They paid on time.

They paid *enough* to lure you in and they paid on time? That's impressive!

Yes. Can you believe it, LOL! The pay was at the bottom end of what I would find acceptable and the location was all of five minutes away. I took it as much out of curiosity as anything.

How was it, LisaSTL? How long did the shop take? I received the email for these "new and improved" shops. Sounds like they have responded to feedback about the shop and payment timeline.
I don't know anything about new and improved. Mine was just an apartment shop that took me about as long on site and for the report as any other. Twenty-five minutes for the visit and 40 for the report.

The last apartment I did for them (December) had a report that took about as long as an EPMS report. I'll do work for Cirrus, but not for less than $50/apartment - and only if I don't have other offers available. Of course, $50 does not come around that often and my offers to them generally go unanswered.

Not awaiting any payments, things moving along. Cirrus is now paying on time...would that be 4 months out?

Live consciously....
The report was quite similar to Ellis except all on one page. I can knock out an Ellis report in 45 minutes.

I suspect that I wrote more than I really need to some times, but I will take a good hour to do an Ellis report...

I went on the Cirrus site and saw all the shops like the one I did years ago (my first and only), Price way too low, got the shivers and left....nope, that memory lasts a long time...sad smiley

By any chance is it Service Evaluations that hasn't paid you?

Yep it is Service Evaluation/Strategic Evaluations. They are the only one that I have ever had to actively chase payment for. I even signed up for a FreshBooks trial (they sponsor podcasts that I listen to), to try to kick them into gear. If it helps I might even pay for the subscription.

I am chasing payment from confero, who has elected to completely ignore my polite requests for April payment. I have mailed support three times, but they choose not to respond for whatever reason. Any suggestions?
Anyone chasing payment from the Shadow Agency? Suppose to be paid on the 15th of each month, still waiting and no response after reaching out, EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING not being paid on time!
I've never had Shadow as paying net 30 on the 15th. I think their terms are something like 45 days.

Did you email shopperpayments@conferoinc.com ? It was saying my payment posted but I didn't have the money in my paypal account. I emailed them with the job numbers and they looked into it - reissued payment through PayPal the next day.
Don't get your expectations up too high on Cirrus...I initiated a "chase" for February shops payment on June 1 (figured I'd get the ball rolling early) and was told they were in process and would take 3 days not including weekends. It showed up in my paypal account on June 16. Definitely an improvement for Cirrus, but they must have a lot of weekends there between June 1 and June 16...
I am now chasing 4 shops. CSE, NSS, AQ and Spies in Disquise. No response from any of them on my first request. (I know NSS is a mute point. So, I'll sit back on that one.)

I've decided to stay with my main MSC's and do my standard shops each month because as soon as I venture off to do other shops the payment issues started! Kudos to ISPOS, North Fork, Alta360 and Ann Michaels!!

Oh and definitely to RBG they always pay me a week earlier than planned...New to my roster but very good to work with! Any issues are immediately addressed by email or a phone call!

I have 7 jobs out with Confero right now and according to their own website, I am not due payment til the second week of AUGUST. I did not realize they were 60 days out on payments as the norm! I probably won't do much with them in the future because of that. But they are very responsive and nice to work with both schedulers and editors. Was all positive.

Have you waited the 60 days for payment? If the job was completed after April 15th it's due next Monday according to their schedule.
That is odd. Mine was for a late February shop invoiced on March 1 and hit PayPal on June 3.

I haven't waited 60 days for payment. Looking at my spreadsheet, it's been about 45 days or so. Not really much slower than most of the other MSC I've done shops for.
I am still waiting. Have they paid you?

UPDATE: I have received payment on the 20th from Catherine Ann, from the "info" email address.
I have two shops with Mercantile completed in April that are now over the 45 days they say to expect payment. I have never had a problem with them before. They pay by check so I hope it's not a problem with my unreliable mailman. I sent an email this morning and wil update this post when reply received.

Update - After not getting a reply to my email I called them and spoke to someone who said they woul look into it. They informed me that a check was mailed in May. I have a terrible postman who often misdelivers my mail so I don't like companies that pay by check. They said they could reissue the check without a fee but I have to wait until July.

I emailed ahopperspayment and ultimately ended up calling. I was finally able to get thru to Tameka who passed the message along. I recd and email stating I can expect payment on or around 6-26. I'll update accordingly. Thank you for helping.
Me too. Now I wish I took this month's jobs.
