Awkward Moment (North Fork style)

So there I was doing my second grocery shop for NF and feeling like "oh I got this" when I popped around an endcap and spotted the Seafood guy from the chain of grocery stores I used to do. Now I saw this man every two weeks for a year in his store in this town. And then not for three months and we're both in the "wrong" store! Of course he was EVERYWHERE I needed to be, Of COURSE he was checking out two aisles over and, for a change, my cashier was doing their job when all I wanted to do was get the heck out of the store. I had to hide in the lottery area until he left.

After seeing two threads titled, "Awkward Moment" followed by the name of a MSC, it made me think with the MSC name dropped it could be a great ongoing thread.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
I use to demo in multiple Whole Foods locations and I would usually go one to another. I noticed who the mystery shopper was very quick. A few weeks later there was a picture posted in the break room. Middle managers hate corporate. lol. I even sent a text to the schedule and was like can you send a little less obvious shopper with a photo.

The manager from one of the burger places that I regularly shop transferred to another location that I occasionally shop, quite some distance away. The first time I saw him, he walked in while I was eating my meal and I tried to hide my face, but it's a lost cause now because he's there all the time. I'm pretty sure he suspected I was the shopper at the first place. Now I feel like he's doubly sure that it's me. He's super nice to me, though (and he runs a tight ship) so I think it works out fine.

Awkward and SAD moment. A North Fork scheduler texted me to see if I would pick up a quick easy super store shop that day for $50. Unfortunately i wasn't free to accept. *tears*
