NSS Payment Issues - READ THIS FIRST

I've just always done that. I go thru and delete stuff that I was paid for every few months or so.

Me too. smiling smiley I once had a gas station shop where they asked for pictures 3 weeks later! I had all of them and sent the entire bunch.
UPDATE: I've been told by the person that has been in contact with reporters, that the probate court will provide no information to the reporters.

This seems strange because probate docs and petitions are usually public record. I don't even know if an estate executor has been assigned.

I don't know what to tell anyone at this point.
As I stated before, there are no hearings currently scheduled on the court's calendar. I'll keep checking the calendar in hopes of finding some info, but the Placer County Superior Court website is really wonky...(this according to my probate attorney's legal assistant).

Once again, the probate case # is S-PR-0008681
And the probate attorney's information (if he is still handling the case) is:

Spencer T. Malysiak
Spencer T. Malysiak Law Corporation
3500 Douglas Blvd., Suite 200
Roseville, CA 95661

I'm quite late to the party. I've had a busy summer and just now noticed that NSS hadn't paid for March, April, and May. I'm not owed as much as many others here, but I'm still looking at about $250 in fees and expenses. Unfortunately for me, their website is now history and I wasn't able to print off any documentation. I do have the email confirmations of the assignments, at least. But, like most of you, I'm very skeptical that we'll ever see the money owed to us. I'm not sure if I should print off my emails and mail them in. They don't actually prove that I then followed through and completed the assignments. It seems to me that they would have to go into the records to verify that I actually did the shops, and to check the reimbursement amounts. And if they have access to those records, and they end up paying shoppers, do I actually need to mail a letter? Quite the bummer, I enjoyed working with NSS and their schedulers.
I am going to guess if the website is gone, so are the records of what we are owed. I do have screenshots and emails, but pretty skeptical it's going to help me get paid.

I would think that there would be accounting records separate from the site...or at least that copies of those records were made before shutting the site down. Fingers crossed.

It would be nice. Thank you and everyone else who has become involved. Super nice of you people who aren't owed money to look out for the rest of us like this.
they shut down the website: there is no way to access it for now...

I did as well, I actually emailed a couple I worked/spoke frequently with (Chris and Julian) and never heard back sad smiley
I've also had a busy summer and just noticed I wasn't paid for a March shop. I am typically on top of monitoring shop payments, but I so seldomly shop for this group that it slipped by my radar. I'd like to follow along to see if any updates are posted. Thanks
I stopped working for them long ago but made a friend from here after reading the posts. I dug a little for her and this is what I found:

Ms. Katy Gravatt, Director of Production
Alternate Business Names

Business Index Group, Inc.

Here's an attorney they used:

.Attorney or Agent's last (family) name
CHENG
3. First (given) name
WENDY
4. Middle name(s)
W.
5. Address 1
910 FLORIN ROAD, SUITE 112
6. Address 2
N/A
7. City
SACRAMENTO
8. State
CA
9. Postal code
95831
10. Country
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
11. Province
N/A
12. Telephone number
9164424211

I don't think shoppers would have any claim against the estate but I'm no expert. I wish you guys the best of luck.

Oh and to the poster who said Probate is Public - that is not true. It can be closed and the info only made available to those named in the will.
Not to nitpick, but I believe it was stated that probates and the associated docs are "usually public record". It seems that any public access to this particular probate has been closed off.

There is currently a Wendy H Cheng practicing law in Sunnyvale, CA, but no Wendy W Cheng is currently registered with the California Bar Association.

We are aware of the fact that NSS is an alternative business name for Business Index Group, Inc. and that that registration took place years ago.

We are also aware that Katy Gravatt is now operating her own MSP.

The address mentioned in the above post is currently occupied by this law firm.
Law Office of Christopher W. Yun
Attorney At Law
Certified Immigration Law Specialist
910 Florin Rd., Suite 112
Sacramento, cA 95831
Phone: (916) 442-4211

Just my 2 cents, but I would advise shoppers against contacting this office.

Now if you could come up with the name of the law firm that was being retained by NSS at the time of Matt's death, that would be fantastic.

No, any and all updates that have been verified as current and that will help lead shoppers in the right direction to get paid are great.

Live consciously....

I am kind of late to this party. I looked through my paypal account and I received my last payment April 28th. So I am all paid up... now I wish I could say the same about Grassroots Mystery Guest

The last time I received money from NSS was February 28th via Paypal. Of course, they had me doing shops March, April and May...but never paid me...tongue sticking out smiley
I also have 3 unpaid shops. I also have photos and receipts, Please update if anyone gets paid.
No wonder, I have not been paid. They messed up my payments before, but when I could not get a hold of Accounting, a scheduler or open the site, I knew something was wrong. Any updates? I took screen shots when I realized I was not paid and contacted accounting. I have documentation of my emails sent.
Yes, I too took screen shots and have all of my photos, emails, etc. There was no one at NSS to receive those emails. No updates, most assuredly I can kiss that $700+ goodbye.

It's really a waiting game now...I would like to remain positive and hope we are all going to be paid. For me, it's not over until the fat lady sings! tongue sticking out smiley
