Ipsos smugness

Has anyone else been ripped off by Ipsos. I did a shop for them (after taking test, reading directions, driving, doing the shop, filling out the report etc) Because I was new with them, my computer( or their site) did not allow me to upload photos from a Saturday. I sent them via email to my schedulers. Early Monday morning I got a smug note that they had not got the report. They got the pictures. Clearly the shop was done. I emailed them, text them, emailed again. but no response. They decided to reassign the shop. WOW! Wasted 5 hours!!

How is telling you they didn't receive the report "smug?" Did the system allow you to submit the report without the attachments? If not, they didn't get the report. I would be interested in who you sent the email to and who told you the report was not received. My experience is they use an outside scheduling company so photos sent to the scheduler are not going to immediately be available for staff at Ipsos.

I shop for Ipsos regularly and have never had an issue. I have never experienced any difficulty uploading pictures. It sounds like you might not have actually submitted the report since you were having computer issues. That would be my guess given the information provided. Ipsos saw that the shop was still sitting there, unreported, so they reassigned. Makes sense to me.

Once I thought I had submitted a report from the app. It had, in fact, not submitted. The scheduler contacted me on Monday, (this was a Saturday shop) and told me they would accept the report, if the end client agreed to accept it. I had offered, of course, to reshop if needed. I should have made sure that I had the confirmation number. Thankfully, they accepted the original report. Since it was my rresponsibility to ensure the report was submitted, I was grateful for the outcome. No complaints here for this company.
I work with them monthly and have done MANY shops for them and have never had a report or payment issue. My scheduler is friendly and professional whenever we speak. There were communication issues here and I believe these to be in the minority if the shopper applies due diligence. I have even made a dumb oversight, same one twice even and they told me and still paid me when I did it again! I fully did not expect to get paid. They have always been very good at communicating with me. I hate to see them slammed over ONE occurrence in which we do not have all the information.
I've never had an issue with IPSOS. I have found that if I have problems submitting a report, changing browsers usually fixes the problem.

have done manny, mannnnnty assignments for ipsos with never, ever an issue. i've found them to be responsive and pro-active with a high degree of communication, even on weekends.

the issue at hand, it appears (as has been commented on) that the pictures were sent to the scheduler and that just doesn't work. it's not the scheduler's responsibility to attach/amend/correct the report. and...maybe they don't have the ability to do those things. i have no idea.

also, some people (schedulers, mscs, me and maybe even you) can't be available 24/7/weekends, etc.

but, with all that being said, saying that you were "ripped off" is disingenuous and isn't accurate and is patently unfair. if they didn't get the pictures you clearly didn't do the shop.

full. stop.

I haven't experienced them to be smug with me. However, what happened to you, as you explained it, is irresponsibly dismissive and not necessary in the grand scheme of things.

Ipsos does this regularly. They do NOT EVER listen to reason.

Your story with them was completely unreasonable.

I'd say that I average $500 a month with them, possibly more. No issues yet.

yep...winemaker's fable went onandonandonandon (ad nauseum). me thinks he/she writes after imbibing too much of the grape?
I've been able to contact schedulers to resolve issues. I get good responses quickly. I have yet to use their mobile app except once, and it worked well once I figured out the photo part of it.

Just because one person has a good experience with a company doesn't mean everyone does, and visa-versa!!!!
I do a bit of work for them and I've not had any issues. Maybe it's the scheduler or maybe the shop did not get sent. It happens.
