I only claim the tolls once per day with them so if I have several shops, I'll just pick one of the shops and attach to tolls to it. Some shoppers say they spread it out, so maybe that is where I went wrong. Depending on the trip, I could only use $1.60, or if I hit every darn booth and side road, it might be a max of $18.60 in tolls. Now, I can get paper receipts at the human-occupied booths but we also have the types you throw your change in. I can't get receipts on those. There are 4 of them at $0.80 each and if you go both ways it's $6.40 a shop. In a month, I really am unsure for tolls. I would estimate now that I've slacked off shopping they might reimburse $60-$125 in tolls and parking. I'm going to invest in EZ pass and if nothing else, at least I have it for taxes. It's apparently delayed at times to show up and they now want our receipts attached in that 8 hour report time. Ah, the learning curve. I did submit pics of me at the booths, photos of the signs, and even screen grabs of the map from my house to the shops. I live in one state, border several more, and my new job has me in and out of states along the east coast. The eastern seaboard is full of toll roads :/ I always attached receipts for the things I could get but sometimes the best they got was a photo of the booth and me going through. Obviously the cars in front of were different in each pic, etc. so idk why those weren't sufficient. I'm not going to block a toll lane to snap tons of photos and waste time scamming. I know we've all heard the horror stories. If we wanna make a good job of it, sometimes we have to bend a little. Of course sometimes we have to cut the cord on a company too. I do get some good work through them so I wanted to salvage what I could for now. The make offer helps me since I've severely slacked off shopping.
