MF allows two restaurant shops in the same meal period?

I spoke with a scheduler today and I accepted a second fast food shop for tomorrow. I thought MF didn't allow two ff shops during the same meal period. The scheduler today said it's for different companies so it doesn't matter. Has anyone had two shops approved for ff during the same meal period? I think I'll do two different periods anyway to be safe because I know I've read you can't do two for the same period.
Thanks!

I've done a tasty sammich and fries along with a sweet treats shop in the same meal period but that's about it for me. Best to check your CPI and see if you can reschedule or if the shop can be done at a later time frame. I've had shops that have to be done by 1:45 PM before and then did another at 2PM without issue but never.... say two of the same restaurant in different towns between 11am-2pm. I have performed a sweets and a burger/hotdog though.

That scheduler must be new. No. You can't do two FF shops in the same timeframe on the same day no matter if it's different clients or not. If you do it you won't get paid for one of them.
Thanks for the reply. I can do one as breakfast so I'll just drag myself out of bed early. I don't want either of the shops to be invalid especially since I got the "we're counting on you to help us meet this deadline" email.

That's what I thought. I think the scheduler just got anxious to get the shops done.
Has anyone tested the theory? Maybe they really do mean not to do two like shops in the same meal period but we've always assumed they meant any food shops. I don't want to get dinged plus I don't need more than one meal at a time, but for route shoppers, it wouldn't be so bad.

No, we assumed they meant fast food shops because they said to not do 2 fast food shops in the same period and stated this repeatedly. If anyone tested it and had no repercussions I imagine it would be because they were lucky that the editors didn't catch it.
Under the 'Help' section:
If our Scheduling Department gives conflicting information on how many shops may be done in a certain period, please e-mail the Help Desk at helpdesk@marketforce.com before you proceed. Ultimately, the Shopper is responsible for his/her shop assignments, so please let our Help Desk resolve any conflicts before you do the shop(s).

One of my schedulers, bless her darlin' little heart, said once that I just needed to take an over-all pic and pic of the realtor/closed sign for the de-branding shops and another time said the cell phone client could sell the phones without service: not true!

That's the answer. It deserves to be repeated.

And, yes, it's been tested, and we've seen posts over the years from outraged posters who did two fast foods in one meal period and are devastated to find the reports were rejected. And I'm sure sometimes folks have done two fast foods in one meal period and it slipped through the editing and the reports were accepted. It depends on whether you feel lucky today. Unless the shops are massively bonused, and MF shops never are in my area, they don't pay enough for me to want to be stuck with two meals at two different fast foods in one meal period, whether I'm on a route or not.
When the scheduler reads the disclosure to you, as they assign the shop, the clearly state that you may not perform more than one food shop per meal period.

When I inform them I already have a meal scheduled with them for the time period, they immediately look for another opening or ask if I can reschedule the current one for a different day.

To be honest, this scheduler didn't read a disclosure. Both shops are done now in different meal times.
Only the overseas schedulers read the disclosures when they assign you, not the home grown ones.
I have done two FF shops within an hour of each other many times for MF. Did it a week ago, in fact. Even did two different locations of the same company once (HelpDesk said I could do it as long as I would be able to fairly evaluate each (i.e hungry))
As have I. Exceptions can be made, depending on deadlines. Following scheduler-made assignments, I double check with the Help Desk, prior to completing the shops.
I received a call yesterday asking to complete a lunch shop. When they found I had one already scheduled a different day was offered. I would only consider doing 2 in the same meal period if they were different MSC and I did not have to finish the meal. Like today I did a dine in lunch shop then placed an order for pick up.

When I was in my teens and 20s I probably could have eaten two meals within an hour or two of each other. These days it's more like seven hours apart.
I take my hubby and we split a meal if I'm allowed to take him. It worked out well for these two shops. We did breakfast, lunch and then had popcorn for dinner.
Just verify and get it in writing. You should be good if it checks out from there.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
The most that I have done in one day is 6.about 2 or 3 hours apart. Breakfast at 6 AM and again at 9 AM then ever couple of hours. First and last time.
I have read specifically that you cannot do two meal shops. Didn't refer to same company but to any meal shop. I suppose a sweet treat isn't considered a meal?

I have bought and sold phones without service. Through AT&T and Verizon. The Apple store sells them all day long with no service. There are mom and pop shops all over the place selling cell phones.

I am not referring to whichever company that is being referred to in any post because I do not know you are referring to. I am only referring to the buying of cell phones without service.
Whether or not this brand's franchises could actually sell cell phones without service is something I still don't know. I know the guidelines asks if the employee followed the company policy, yet the guidelines didn't state whether or not it could either.

I know, on a related note, that one of my major grocery stores' Managers are saying they have a clean floor policy, yet there are shippers and features for Nabisco, Smuckers, some of the booze guy's crap all over the floor. I don't like being made a fool of or having the rules broken for some people and denying pay for others under the same circumstances. However, that's the way the world is, isn't it.
