Jancyn has acquired Customer Perspectives

Is Customer Perspectives the company that I applied for that had some pet store shops and when I emailed to inquire about doing some of them I got a terse "We don't shop your area" even though I already told them I had a route scheduled through 10 or 12 states, including some they had shops in? If so couldn't care less they got bought out or whatever.

LOL at someone not realizing "your area" could cover a good swath of the US depending on your whims and the alignment of the stars! I wouldn't hold whatever some person with poor reading comprehension at CP told you a year ago against Jancyn. That person may not even work with them anymore.

"pretend internet money." That is too funny and not far off from my first thought upon hearing about PayPal, LOL!

I too remember getting pretend money on the internet from mystery shopping. That is until I moved the money from PayPal to my bank. That shut my spouse and the family up. Lucky for me most of the family are allergic to new things (or just lazy) or I might be competing with them for jobs. I followed the press release and when I went to the site for Jancyn I couldn't help but think of the movie Robocop (the first one not the lame remake) and the introduction to Omni Corp.

Not at all. That was why I stated I couldn't care less if they got bought out. I have shopped for Jancyn, although not a lot, but I love the pita sandwich shops they used to have and I've certainly never had any problems with them. Sounds like an upgrade to me!

Oh dear. I'd taken a break from MSing for a little while and hadn't logged into Customer Perspectives in a few months, so I just discovered this news. I did a lot of shops for them, enjoyed doing them, and felt they paid well. I sure hope Holly will stay on as scheduler. I don't know her last name but she was always very kind toward me and understanding if I had any problems or needed to reschedule. She's a gem and a caring person, and we had a good rapport, so I hope she will still schedule for Jancyn.

Oddly enough, I can still find some available shops on CP's Prophet site.

I had never registered with Jancyn due to some rather negative reviews over at Volition, citing lack of response from schedulers and billing, and problems with getting paid. Hoping those issues are all in the past, I just registered because I'd like to see if any of the shops I liked so much at CP will now be available through Jancyn. When I first checked them out a few years ago, Jancyn didn't have anything in my area.

Ugh, I hate that these kinds of buy-outs require shoppers to re-register. Can't our profiles and histories be brought over?

I got the email and only work monthly for Jacyn, so to me it means more jobs, we'll see.

Live consciously....
I had a funny 'moment' regarding this this evening. Jancyn was one of my first MS companies, and I always liked their assignments. I had taken a break from shopping until a few months ago, when I got 'back in the saddle.' Checking my completed assignments with Jancyn today, having done one again yesterday, I realized just how long my 'break' actually was. I was thinking 4 or 5 years....those first Jancyn assignments I did were a full 10 years ago!

I hope I start seeing some of the CP shops in my area soon.
