GFK. No Refund?

I signed up to do an audit (first time). I had to cancel. This was not a last minute cancel, but a week before the audit. I had paid for a drug test and background check the day of or day before I had to cancel. They won't issue a refund. Am I out $57 ?

Wasn't part of the agreement you had to complete one or two audits to be reimbursed? If so, you have no recourse. Did they give you the option to reschedule rather than canceling?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
You can still do two assignments, if they allow you to do a shop again after cancelling (and they may), and get your reimbursement. There isn't a deadline on the reimbursement that is listed on the site. So, you could do your first shop 10 years from now and get your refund!
Am I correct on the time it takes to do these audits, esp espcially the first few which can take two days and you earn $5.75 an hour, DOLLY?
Add in all the time I spent studying before the audit, the actual time at the company, the gas and the shin splints and I'm paying them to let me do an audit for them. I'll be honest- I made it through 3/4 of the first one and decided to cut my losses and not worry about getting reimbursed for the tests or my time- It was cheaper to NOT do them..lol
I have been doing the audits mentioned for about 4 years, having been one of the original auditors on this program. Yes, there is a learning curve. Yes it takes time to streamline your process. My 1st job took 10 hours over 2 days. Each consecutive one I learneda new to help me. Now I can do most stores in 5-5.5 hours...and I am a disabled person who must stop and sit for a few every 15-20 minutes. Be patient, look for ways that cut your steps, your time, your energy whie still doing quality work. As example, I will arrange the planograms so as to not crisscross store. Same with adset.. I overlap tasks in same areas of store. Etc.. So much has changed since this program started! I started with 100 page manual with ambiguous wording, no forums or monthly calls and no one else that had a clue! Take advantage of the resources! Bope this helps!
