IPSOS

I am constantly getting e-mails from IPSOS on jobs that I would like to do. When I go to their job board I can only get a certain number to show and they aren't the ones in the e-mail. I have tried to change distance hoping that would work. What is the secret to loading more of their jobs beyond the first page? Thank you.

They are having some website issues right now from what I have read. Maybe that's the problem?

It's working fine for me. Sorry, I know that's not helpful.

You have to look at all the pages. The first page might show one category of shops, with the available ones shown first and then the back up shops. The second page shows another category of shops, with the top portion being the available ones and the back up shops following that. etc.
For a long time, I was only looking at the first page. Since the bottom half of the page was back up shops, I assumed page two and three were all back ups.

I have better luck sometimes searching by job type. The problem for me seems to be all the backup positions filling the board so I can't find actual open jobs.

There's a checkbox that you can fill in that hides the backup shops.

Where? I have searched and searched but don't see it.

And the back up jobs are so annoying to me because a lot of them seem to include bonuses. I have no idea how to get bonuses on IPSOS shops. I see only unbonused shops in my area being offered. Actually yesterday I got an email regarding one shop with a bonus. That is the first time I have seen that in the 3 years or so I have been working for them. But there are always tons of nearby already taken back up shops with bonuses.

I get bonuses often enough. I email and ask for them. Sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't.

@a-scho, thank you for mentioning that there could be more shops after the backup listings. I had no idea! Just two hours ago, I went to the job board and saw 2 shops and the rest were backups. I closed out and thought I'd check back at the end of the month. After reading your post, I noticed there's a page 2 with at least 50 more shops. I never would have known they were there. Thank you.

If anyone knows where the box is to filter out the backup shops, would you mind posting that info? TIA

Thanks, I just discovered 30 more shops!!!

Change the shop per page number to 500. The radius doesn't matter. That's the only way you'll see all of the available IPSOS shops. I had the same issue.

Could anyone tell me when Aug shops will be paid? My battery died in my mini van croaked last night, that payment will help a LOT!!

Nevermind, it showed up 30 minutes later

I also have found the second page with IPSOS.

They do change the amount listed for a shop and do not list bonuses. Since a scheduling company will send out bonus emails. There are $12 shops for $18, $15 for $30 and $15 for $20.

I just applied got and did report site is working fine. Scheduler available as she texeded me about job.
Applied for second job tomorrow, and got it....try again.

I emailed, they didn't answer me. They can skip me for a while.

Sorry about your min-van, as for pay, it depends when you shopped in August. I received payment for shops completed with first couple weeks of August, on around August 30. Shops I completed in the ladder part of the month I received payment around the 14 or 15th of September. You can also log in to your account and look at your shops and assure they have been "ok to pay". If the editors have not gotten to a shop, I can usually figure it will be paid on the next payday, and not the current one. Hope that helps

I am discouraged with IPSOS at the moment!!
I'm new to mystery shopping, and I'm loving it. So the 4th company I signed up with was IPSOS, I'm six weeks in and at first I was elated. Now things aren't looking all too great. I have applied for the Jeans shops numerous times only to find them gone several hours later. Yet they are back on the board the next day AND at a higher pay. I apply a third time and again, nothing. It makes me think that the scheduler is holding out so that they can offer a higher paying shop to a friend or family member. I may be wrong in my assumption, but we never will know.
BTW, I emailed the company asking about the situation and mentioned that I texted a scheduler with an inquiry. They replied saying that schedulers don't have time to respond to every inquiry. Anyway, they aren't very helpful. One more thing, don't try being nice, you're better off being standoffish.

Has anyone seen the regular box shops come out. It seems like it's been two months since I've seen them posted.

That was my experience also. With applying for the shops and they are back on the board at $25 and my application was deleted. I would have done them at $15. Something is absolutely up with that. At least you got through to them, the didn't bother answering me at all. That's what caused my burn-out. I will focus on other companies now. Had they given me the ones I applied for I would have done the cell phone shops that have been sitting on the board. I'll take those now only if they go to $25. If they have questions, they expect me to answer within 12 hours. It's not as disappointing as not hearing back when you apply to be an extra in the movies that are made in my area though!
