New Grocery Store Shops

You are NOT supposed to name the MSC and their clients! It is in violation of the contract you signed with Second to None. Please delete the grocery store name.

Shopping up and down the Colorado Rocky Mountain front range.

It depends on the pay for it to be worthwhile. If it is similar to the shops i know of, it asks that you interact with an employee of every department (floral, deli, hot food, bakery, meat, grocery, produce, liquor, pharmacy, checkout and front desk). You will need to take down names and descriptions and write a narrative of what was said in the interaction. I remember the pay for all of that being around $20. That was not worth the amount of time spent in the store (typically around 45 minutes). Then the report takes another 30 minutes minimum.

@French Farmer do you think $18/$20 depending on the size of the store is reasonable? That's about what I would be comfortable doing a shop like that for.

No!

These shops might be worth it if they were in the $35 to $40 range. There is just too much time invested in the shop itself and the subsequent report is long and tedious.

I agree. However, I do have a friend who fed her family net free and got fuel points to fill up two vehicles, one a truck, for the summer a few years back. To her, doing 10 of these shops over a couple days, matching coupons and our having mini-grocery wars at the time, it was so worth it! We devised a quick way to keep track of conversations, descriptions and names so that it was almost a game. Eh, when the deals dried up and I got busier, I decided they were a pain. Now I know people that work in several of them in my area, so I won't do them. My decision.

Dang the only grocery shops that I get are the $4.00 ones at Aldi and Big Lots.

dbakst, are you naming the client again after the mods deleted your initial post? The MSC has been named in this thread (CoMystery's post). If so, you need to take out the name of the client (grocery store's name).
