Questions about Marketforce's Samantha

Just wondering ... how quickly do you have to respond to these?

How quickly do they respond back with assigned shops?

I got three job offers from Samantha today between 11 and 11:30, responded about 1:30, haven't heard anything back. Just don't know if it is because 2 hours is too long and they've already been assigned others, or if they just haven't gotten around to assigning them, yet.

Anybody have enough experience with Samantha to respond?

I have received hundreds of Samantha emails since August 2013. I reply, the job remains on the board, the due dates on the board expire, the assignment does not get reposted. I am curious to know if other shopper experience what I have. Batchman, I wish you better luck. Let us know if you get the jobs.

It's been awhile since I accepted a Samantha offer, if I remember correctly sometimes it would take some time. Other times it was quick, rarely would I not hear something.
If I recall, I don't think Samantha offers are pulled from the board while pending. I think you can just see if it's still posted, if it's gone, they have assigned it.
I’ve seen reference to Samantha offers but that’s it. I’ve been too lazy to google it, but what is it?
You get an offer from MForce in Samantha's name, sometimes fairly well bonused. After responding you wait to see if it is assigned to you.
I wonder how they choose who gets these Samantha offers. I regularly get bonused calls and emails offering a whopping extra $2 but no Samantha.
After reading about these offers for a long time, I got my first last week. It was a location I had previously shopped. I don't know if that made the difference. Out of the few clients I see, this is the only one I've shopped for and it would have been at least a few years ago.

Samantha's offers only seem to come for locations I've done in the past.

I get them for shops in my area regularly. The bulk are for two types of shops that offer a $2. If I schedule in advance. I do see some $20 offers when the regular base is $8...that is still not enough to entice me to reply.

I've noticed two things with this, $2 is not as much as if I just pick it up closer to the shop date. Usually it's up $6. The other negative, for me at least, is that I would then miss out on any potential 'make an offer' jobs at this location because I would miss seeing how the month plays out up to the time I would have accepted with the email offer.

I'm not in a huge area, maybe only 3 or 4 other shoppers in my city (I think) but once I see shops falling off my list - I know I'm in a better position for the fee increase since they now knocked themselves out because of the rotation.

Also doing the same for the rental item client with this MSC, they post scheduling weeks in advance, but if I schedule 1 location..all the others fall off my potential list for this client. I'll wait for the other shoppers to pick thier location at base and I can sit back and wait for the make an offer function and pick up my location at this point.
I have gotten Samantha offers for places I have never been, in cities that are 25-30 miles away, and not enough money offered for me to bother driving that far. I have a few times gotten offers for locations closer and did them. I haven't gotten any in quite awhile, but I do get their scheduler's phone calls several times a month.
