Does MF allow you to correct invalid shops?

I did four gas shops yesterday and mixed up one of the receipts. I emailed the help desk immediately, asking them to reopen the report so that I could switch out the wrong receipt. Then this morning I received a notice of invalid shop for a different gas shop stating that it had pictures for another location. The said that the customer will not accept, they don't get paid and neither do I. They asked me let them know if they were mistaken. I responded that I can no longer see the uploaded images, but assured them that I have all of the pics, and to please allow me to fix the issues. I followed up the original email with a help desk email just to make sure my offer/request was known.

It's been several hours now, and not a peep. And there's been no change on my shop board. I'm wondering has anyone been allowed to amend or update a report submitted to MF?

I haven't had this happen, but my understanding is that they generally won't let you fix a report after it's submitted. Doesn't hurt to try though, I think.
I had this happen last week.
2 night shops.
They said I reused photos.
#1 no I didn't
#2 it's the first time I've done night shops, so not possible.

No, they would not let me fix these. I was SOL. I'm guessing you will be too. I've worked for them since 1999. It's not as as if I just decided to go rogue one day.

Sorry.
Same thing happened to me.

I did two jewelry shop in the same mall on the same day. I was having problems with uploading pictures on their website from my tablet. When I finally succeeded, they rejected one of the shops because I had uploaded the same picture to both reports. It was of the store front.

I told them I could fix it and it would take less time to reject it back to me to correct then to have to reschedule it and have it re-shopped. They e-mailed me the two photos to prove to me I had made a mistake. I then e-mailed the correct photo back. I was told they get too many reports to daily to return shops for correction whenever something was wrong.

I was told a supervisor would tell me the same thing - they couldn't correct my report and it could not be submitted to the client, so I wouldn't be paid for it.

Finally reaching a supervisor, I was told they would have known if there had been problems with their website, and they weren't aware of any. I then e-mailed links to two different posts from this board talking about problems with the website.

I pushed the issue and because I said it was strange I had to take it to a forum on mystery shopping, they suspended me from doing any further shops for them. I had done over 115 shops for them through July of this year at the time.

Advice, if you want to continue doing shops for them. Let it go, they won't change their mind and they might suspend you from future shops.

They don't normally allow corrections. They have a massive volume of reports and expect it to be right when you send it. I love Market Force. I just try to make sure I have everything perfect.
They opened it up for me once for a typo on the shop time.

I can't believe you sent them a link to this forum so they could hear about how much we complain about them. I would have terminated services with you also. I'm curious why you don't have a year next to your name that shows how many years you've been on the forum.

MF doesn't need anybody to provide a link to the forum. They very well know where the forum is and they read it regularly. In the past, we had several MF employees post here, some in response to questions or complaints posted. Recently, MF have responded to issues posted on the forum by adding to their Shopper Messages. They know exactly what is being said about them, both good and bad.
One way to prevent mixing things up in the future is to enter your MF shops right after you do them. I try not to have 2 of tge same kinds of shops on the the same day , but entering tgemright away helps prevent mistakes

I tried to enter them right away and had problems with the website. Reread my original post about the problem.

maybe they are a mod?
Maybe. Anyone who says "Reread my original post" has what daddy used to call a head jerker tongue.
I actually was not directing my comments at you. It was a suggesrion for the origiinal poster. However I too have had issues uploading on devices. Its usually because I am on a data connection and its a poor connection. I carry a phone and tablet just for that reason. They are both linked by my gmail account so they get the same pictures. Never the less I was just trying to be helpful jeepers

Think of this from an editors point of view. If a shopper can not properly track and attach the receipts and location pictures correctly, how reliable are the observations and comments?

Choose your battle here catefully. Learn from your mistake and hope that the MSC does not drop you.

Jacob performs like MSCs. He does not estimate time----->why say the Poster has been a member for 2 weeks or a 1/4 of a month? grinning smileygrinning smiley

Maybe Poster @wrose--->if the report was submitted right, the first time, why would they have to follow up with you? MF is running a business. You should want your business agenda to be done right the first time. smiling smiley
Must be a glitch. It should say New Participant New member then at some point change over to number of posts and years on the forum.

MF has an insane volume of shops. Notice that most of them have either no narrative or a very small amount of narrative? Their clients are typically national chains that have over a hundred locations. To them, it's faster and cheaper to not pay the first shopper and just send someone else out there. (This is also why they don't like paying more per shop to the shoppers than they absolutely have to.)
