Market Force: what do they really mean?

I need an answer to a MF question and I know so many of you have shopped for them, at least one of you knows the answer. And you will respond faster than the helpdesk who I emailed on Friday.

I'm doing a retail shop at a mall for them next Friday. Joy oh joy there is my favorite burger shop at the same mall for that day. HOWEVER. MF guidelines prohibit accepting two shops at the same location on the same day. Do they mean at the same retail shop or at the mall itself? Both shops would be for MF; I don't know how they'd feel if I took a shop for another company at the same mall.

Can anyone clarify that for me? Thanks! The amount of knowledge here is impressive.

.

They mean two shops for the same client at the same location. For example, if you accept a Big Boy Burger shop at the mall, you can also accept a shop at the same mall with Hip Hop Clothing but you cannot accept a second Big Boy shop at the same mall location. If you do two shops at the same mall, be very sure to leave a few minutes between the end of one shop and the start of the next shop. Even if they are next door to each other, and you could start the second shop one minute later, do not do that.

Note: Neither of the clients I mentioned are clients of MF, so this post is not an ICA violation.
It even prohibits two lunches during allowed time period but at separate site. One of my missions was rejected recently, because I wanted to take a travel to two restaurants. The reviewers selectively rejected the remote visit, probably want to save money for the company. My payment received from the first visit even cannot cover the cost of my second visit. As a result, I stopped to take any mission from them, because I cannot afford to do such kind of high risk mission with purchasing requirement.
Right. You can't do two food shops at the same address. You can't do two food shops, for any client (for MF only) during any meal period. You can do two shops, or 30, at the same mall. However be sure to leave 5 minutes between locations, anything less than 5 minutes can be disputed. If a scheduler gives you two shops at the same address, say, for example a gas station shop, you can do them HOWEVER, be sure to get them to put it in writing!
You can definitely do multiple shops in the same mall just not for the same client at the same location so no doing two shops at mall kiosk booth 575. I've grabbed up a sweet treat, ran and gotten a burger, went into a cellphone store, looked at three different companies engagement rings, and toted around a bulky item all in the same mall.

Apparently the key is a little time between shops. Everyone says 5 minutes. I didn't know but I guess I must've been doing that already with taking a few notes and just dilly dallying a bit. Good luck and enjoy!

I say no two shops for same location booth number because some companies that they shop are owned by the same parent company so you could feasibly do two shops for say a phone company with the same brand name but one is a booth and one is a store front or you could do two jewelry stores with different "names" owned by one company and so forth. Key is not going to jewelry emporium for two shops at the same time after you made offers and both were accepted tongue sticking out smiley (it happens some times)

About that bulky item...Was I supposed to lug it around AFTER an associate offered a cart? Like should I have seen whether all two of the associates would offer one? I accepted the first one's offer so the only other associate saw me with a cart. The report was accepted without editing so I guess I did it right.
While some shoppers say 5, others say 20 minutes, is good for the time separation between shops. I go for at least 30 minutes to an hour, especially MF shops. Even though the shop/retails may be close to each other, one never knows if the retail has up to date time receipts. (gas station vs a grocery store) When a reimburse come into play, everybody, wants the time to match up. I used the drive time, to separate the time distance. I want to get paid. Use your own system and work with what's best for your business.

Shopping Big Boy Burger and Little Feet Dogs during the same time frame is prohibited by MF. We can shop Big Boy Burger for lunch and Little Feet Dog for dinner, the same day and in the same mall. smiling smiley

Each unit in a retail building is a separate location, no different than each apartment in a residential building is a separate location.

I am sooooooo jealious! I have yet been able to get one of the shops with MILKSHAKE! I am willing and able!

TinaMarie
The milkshakes are really good although a bit pricey. If it wasnt for the reimbursement for it i wouldn't buy it. The milkshake options hardly come up and not all locations offer it.
Be sure to leave at LEAST 15 minutes between shops. MF rejected both my shops as overlapping and they were 7 minutes apart. They told me 15 minutes minimum.
5 minutes between shops. 15 minutes between food shops and you have to report the one food shop before you can do the other.
You are not an employee of MF. You have no obligation to tell them and it is none of their business if you take a dozen shops from a dozen different companies at that mall on the same day. The time between shops only applies to the Market Force shops. If you finish a MF shop at 1:30 you are free to start a shop for another MSC at 1:31. That was the way I worked when doing multiple shops in a mall. The other assignments would more than cover MF's time restriction while making better use of my time than sitting around waiting.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Just one smiling smiley Once you get offered a buggy, no need to tote it around any longer. It's hit or miss for me. I feel dumb walking around with a 6 foot body pillow like I don't have enough sense to go grab a shopping cart -_- But sometimes, the associates don't ask or even suggest it. They might not even smile or acknowledge.

I did a shop at two different malls last week. Most of my shops were for marketforce. I just checked my exit/enter time and a few were 4 minutes apart. The shops were accepted.
Yeah - I'd be very careful in how I do the shops with them and writing the reports. They are finicky and once the report gets submitted, it'd better be right the first time.

They made an exception they won't always.

Not sure if this was in reference to my post, but I made sure to put the full address ie 11321 Any Place Suite 101

11321 Any Place Suite 302 etc.

Maybe they were recongized as different addresses.
When I used to do several shops on the same day in a mall, I'd go to the restroom between shops. While in a stall, I'd make a few notes on my last shop and/or confirm the details for the next one.

I love that burger place, but I've never been assigned a milkshake. I've moved and they are usually too far for me to go now, but maybe some day. :-)

I do have a question regarding the jewelry shops as to whether you can shop two different chains on the same day. In this particular mall, they are directly across from each other, it appeared that they might be owned by the same company, and the shop instructions were identical. I wasn't able to do the shops this time anyway so didn't bother asking the scheduler.
They mean you can't do two breakfast shops for the same client, let's say "ABC restaurant" and you did one at 7:30 a.m. and then drove to another one and got there at 8:00 a.m; The main reason, is so you don't mix up (confuse) your reports and information.tongue sticking out smiley
Solved the problem by downloading EasyShifts and picked up a "shift" in the next shopping plaza that is estimated to take 36 minutes, so there should be no problem or issue with timing. Thanks for everyone's input.
It's not the same location that would be an issue; I've done several different shops in the same area--you can't do two lunch shops or two dinner shops at the same time.
