Alta360

This company seems to have taken over the ACE parking shops (On the West Coast, at least) and a couple of interesting twists are now placed in the assignments: photo of entry to parking garage or kiosk is required,
the stay required is now up to 2 hours (problematic at a $15 shop fee!), Reimbursement and pay are 6 weeks.
I find it hard to believe that this company wants targeted shops (targeted employees or times) completed with cash only and delays payment for 6 weeks. Anyone out there have any experience with Alta360?

They are actually one of my favorite companies to work with. I do convenience store shops with them in my area that can be submitted on the Mobi Audit app (not to be confused with Mobee). They pay like clockwork at the end of the month following the month assignments were completed. If it states up to 2 hours, why is that a problem? Do you need to park for longer than that? The photo requirement sounds easy enough, just snap a photo with the app open on your phone. You could have most of the shop completed by the time you leave the area. I usually enter all of the information on my phone and then look it over on my desktop later at home to double check my work, then submit. Cuts reporting time waaaaay down.
Two hours at $15 for the entire shop ....do the math....That's far less than minimum wage. I noticed that they are now bonusing these parking shops heavily in a clumsy attempt to get them finished. It is an evolving situation.
JAS, if someone has business to conduct in the area or other shops available near the garage there is value in reimbursed parking and a small fee. OTOH, if there are no shops nearby and the only value is the fee, two hours for $15 sucks.

You said "up to" not a total of 2 hours. To me, "up to 2 hours" could be 30 minutes. You also wrote $15 fee in your post, which led me to believe that it was a $15 fee in addition to reimbursement. To me, that didn't sound bad at all.

At any rate, I never do parking garage shops unless I have other things to do in the area within walking distance.
They are located in Ohio...I registered years ago without seeing one job here. I just checked and updated profile seeing they now have DD. They had one job in my 30 mile radius, but still too far for the money. never know, got a really sincere email thanking me for updating. Not a fan of parking jobs...15.00 for two hours????

I don’t do any parking shops but in general love this company! They have a shop here at a gas station that takes maybe 5-10 minutes and pays $10 I do that one monthly as I can walk there from my house it’s so close. They pay like clockwork. I live in central Ohio so maybe that’s why I see more shops but they also have a lot of restaurant shops with a chain in my area.
Do their gas station shops require the vest? Gas Station shops are one of the few shops that I have yet to try. I haven't wanted to spend time taking all of the pump photos.

The ones I do you are not required to wear a vest. I have never done those gas stations. I see several here that like them and maybe for a large bonus they could be worth it. I do know one of the MSCs I’m signed up with is begging me to do their gas stations that require a vest but it looks like a lot of work too much in my opinion for the pay.
The ones I do are not revealed shops. No vest, and only a curb appeal photo unless something in the restroom is amiss or if a pump is out of order, excessive trash, etc. Really easy and most of the time nothing amiss.
Feeling it was a waste of time to sign with them.....after years of no jobs here, I get a plea to do a job in Thousand Oaks (SCM) you'll know the distance, for a Bird feed place, 10.00 + 15.00 reimbursement....holy moly thanks..LOL

How in the world is this not an ICA violation?
I haven't seen a particular gas station Client's name mentioned, so I think that means no violation has occurred. It's no different than saying Alta has several gas station/convenience store shops, but not mentioning the Client. If I'm wrong, someone will correct me.
The OP used the name of the client. Until today, I had never heard of the particular client and assumed he was saying the shops had been with the mystery shopping company of the same name. It's possible others who are not located on the west coast did the same.

Client is listed in the first post.
I don't work for less than minimum wage. I don't make my teenagers work for that. I don't think that 2 hours for the parking job seems reasonable at all. I'm certainly not opening the door to any gas station restroom for $10.
I've never (ever) done a gas station, between not doing those or Papa Johns, not missing much...other ways to make $$. Just made 60.00 for 45 minutes work at an interesting AARP seminar, can do three Home Depots for 15.00 each easy reports, and so on without having to go into a dirty restroom or stand on a corner giving away cold pizza...LOL

When I preform a reveal gas station, I always wear a vest. To me it is a safety measure. I carry the LOA in my pocket when it is a mystery gas station. Most of my time my photos are snapped before they come out of the store. smiling smiley

OH! I thought it was the name of the MSC that also goes by that name, as in ACE Mystery Shopping, a Shopmetrics company. My bad!
They have $5 pay, $1 reimbursement gas station shops here with the usual interactions plus 6 or more photos. Someone is actually doing them for that pay!
FYI all, some shops are only 30 minutes, some are requiring a two hour stay! At an airport parking lot (hard to shop near that kind of lot!) In a specific time frame! And/Or with a specific person! Even at $50, the time to travel and wear and tear on your vehicle, plus writing the report, plus two hours on site, can mean a pretty low wage.
