Payment from Cirrus Marketing

Their policy is for you to submit an invoice and they pay three months later. I submitted for July and should have received my payment the last of October. Here it is November 15th and I have yet to receive my payment. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? And if so, how are you suppose to contact them??

How is this for funny. I just got an email from them for a couple of urgent assignments needing to be done before Thanksgiving. Before getting tempted I did the math. The pay for their rush jobs would be in early March.

Just recently, they've switched tactics on me. I've been doing large retailer shops for them for 2+ years, been getting consistent 9-10/10 reviews. The payment system before wasn't the best... do the work, submit, get paid 2 months later - but at least they paid, and the shops weren't that bad, so I was quite happy to continue doing them.

I recently did some shops for them in September and October, I submit the shop, get my 9-10/10, and then I get an email from them saying they are not accepting the shop, saying it's not acceptable. I followed the job order to the letter, I did the work, now they are refusing to pay. They have not responded to any of my emails.

Before they started doing this, I didn't have a problem. Now I'm not accepting their work and I'm advising every shopper out there to avoid this company like it was cancer.
Did they tell you why it was not acceptable?

They are still paying less than another company with very similar shops in my area.... Cirrus: $35-$40 for about 90 minutes of work paid in 3-4 months and I might have to beg for payment.... Other company: $50-$60 for 90 minutes of work paid within six weeks like clockwork.... It's a no-brainer.

They never responded to my queries... usually if there was an issue with my report (that was rare), it was handed back to me to fix (which was done instantly). I have no idea why they didn't find my reports acceptable, they've never had any serious issue with them before. I've been a consistently good shopper for them, I've been prompt with my invoicing and never missed a shop deadline.

The particular shops they had in my neighbourhood paid fair enough - and no other company was offering them for this retailer. It was quite a bit of work for the first shop, but once you got the routine down, it was decent money (paid out 2 months later).

Their refusal of my work - after it had been accepted and rated 9-10/10 - and their lack of communication doesn't make any sense at all. If I hadn't had any experience with Cirrus before this, I would have their name laminated under Scam Artists. But I did have a decent working experience with them before, so I can only assume that there's some really bad management going on over there.

Not worth doing their shops.
I practically stopped working for them.

While some of their job pays are good, the paying time is not worth the trouble to deal with.
You will likely need to hunt it down. I have had payment problems with Cirrus. The only MSC, mind you, with whom I have had payment problems. This is why I no longer shop for them. All you can do is keep emailing them. State that your payment is overdue by [insert number] days. They will eventually pay you. Once you get your check, delete them. There are plenty of MSCs that pay like clockwork.

It's a wonder that folks even shop for them!!!
Cirrus (and other companies like them) suck in the newer and less-experienced shoppers.
That's their shopper base. The rest of us are too smart to fall for that.
I did some shops for them last month.... they put a happy bonus on some shops and I picked them up.... the pay was right and I’m okay waiting for it....
