First, if it's crowded, I walk outside or to a quiet corner to make my call - I need to hear the target of the call clearly and don't want recordings to pick up background noise.. Second, I'm not concerned about others hearing me. After all, what do I care of they hear me making a reservation at a restaurant, asking about college admissions policies, or inquiring about an apartment on the other side of the country? To be clear: When I do this, I don't shop the cafe....

Phone shops pair well with parking shops. Park and wait the 30-60 minutes in a nearby cafe. While there I can complete three to ten phone shops. A $15 parking shop can quickly turn into an easy $40-$70.
Are you not concerned that others could hear what you're saying on the phone?
Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
